True, but it seems every MSM outlet is reporting he's not cooperating and has given a "no comment" to police questioning. To me, that doesn't sound like an innocent person's actions. MOO

If you were innocent, you would be doing everything to clear your name

You would be in shock to think the police have accused you of murder

And what ever you could do to help the police, you would be doing

No innocent person would be wanting to stay in prison

And go through a stressful court case

Innocent until found guilty. He has a right to remain silent and we should not be judging him for exercising his rights.

Absolutely I agree the accused has the legal right to silence. However in my personal opinion, it takes a remarkable level of composure to remain silent for so long, regardless of the alleged accused’s guilt or innocence. I can only imagine that most people would crack under the pressure of wanting to “set the record straight” (from their perspective at least)?

To me, the accused’s level of self control in saying nothing seems remarkable for someone whose alleged offense suggests the exact opposite…. ?!

It would also be beautifully and tragically touching (and ironic) if it eventuates that a doggie helps to find Samantha and bring her “home”, given Samantha’s love of animals (and commitment to returning lost animals to their owners and homes).

Hoping the doggies can bring Samantha and her family some sort of closure and peace in these horrific circumstances.

I think if I'd been arrested when innocent of the accused crime, I'd be in shock. If I was also told that anything I say can be used as evidence in court, I might be inclined to say nothing too. I'd be saying, "I didn't do it" plenty though.

I just hope, at this stage, that they find SM for her family.
