So sad. I read Matt Birkbecks book about Sammy Davis and he spoke a lot about Altovise in there. Very hard life she's lead after Sammy died. Was in rehab a lot, homeless, etc. YES, after Sammy's death. There was no money left and a huge IRS bill.


Matt Birkbeck wrote about Sharon David "A Beautiful Child", some here follow that story.

I read about her death today. It is a shame she had to live the last years of her life as she did.

It's been a long time ago but I do remember she had a lot of problems after
Sammy died. I saw a picture of her crying because she was overwhelmed with problems and I.R.S. and didn't know what to do. I felt so bad for her.

It's hard to remember but I think someone pitched in to help her for awhile. One of the surviving Rat Pack members maybe?

She seemed like a nice lady. All of this probably contributed to shortening her life.
