The fact that JA has little tolerance for JB's lack of legal knowledge is old news. The fact that Hal thinks this is news-worthy speaks volumes. Is this the best he can do and who really cares? Sometimes reporters write about nothing to make it something but it's still ends up being nothing. This appears to be the case here. jmo

The good thing about mistakes on his blog is that contributors do not hesitate to set him straight if he is taken in by 'spin'.
Some of the posts are outrageous, others make you chuckle - commenting on Baez accusing JA of 'screaming like a little girl' one contributor snipes "Well Baez would know all about silencing screaming little girls".

Thank you so much Aedrys. Found the entire hearings - has everything, just continuous. John Allen is on the stand repeatedly denying he asked any of the Anthony's to go talk to KC. George reacts by shaking his head and smirking. The A's pursued LE to get them an interview and their reaaction was we can't but you can. Big difference.

What is incredible to anyone who is familiar with the case is that the child would be alive if his daughter had not killed her and THEN LIED TO THEM ABOUT EVERYTHING (and they know she did)

They take umbrage about this but they can justify KC's lies. What is that called? There has to be a name for it.

I guess we could call it transference. I am really angry about my missing daughter but I will just transfer it to hating LE because tht is what CA wants.

All the stuff we talk about, and the MSM decides to try and ruin the rep of the SA? Is Hal not following this case at all? One of the most memorable exchanges? What case is he watching? I think I'm going to stop reading his blog from now on if he's going to be so one sided for the defense. There have been way more exchanges where the defense was snide, rude, you name it, and he picks this ONE to act like the SA is losing their cool. Has he not seen, this whole time, exactly WHO the SA has had to put UP with for almost THREE YEARS now? I am really getting tired of MSM suddenly going pro defense! (And apparently I'm so mad about it, I forgot how to spell for a moment there!)

I noticed that in recent weeks it is as if the MSM are resetting the playing field, ready for trial. They don't want to appear one-sided and also want to seek input and interviews with the Defense ... so are tilting towards the Defense.

Also, the SA have a tight case and are revealing little while the Defense are starting their propaganda campaign and so are feeding the MSM material and MSM needs to 'create' new news to ramp this up for trial.

There are going to be plenty of tidbits for this thread in coming weeks.

Lets not forget KC. She looks like she is at the proverbial meeting, shuffling papers, hand to chin - looking at the witnesses, but not really, chatting with the gentleman who is always behind her when recess is on - just chattin away.

Meanwhile, she is facing death or lwop. That means 23 hours a day in a room the size of two desks -

Each time I think it can't get an crazier.........it does. CM is used to NOT being called out for his rudeness....I know I might get :slap: for saying this, but HHJP has allowed his rudeness in words and actions to go unchecked so far....it looks as though Jeff A called him out.....I want to see what CM said to push JA.

Has anyone figured out exactly WHAT she's writing all the time? I see her slip folded papers in JB's note pad. I think she is writing notes to her family and he's passing them on. Sort of a way to get messages to them without going the usual route through the jail where it can be potentially read by someone. I imagine she is instructing the family on which direction to go and what to say.... IMO. I see her just scribbling away... I also consider maybe JB asked her to write any discrepancies in testimony by her family or LE. That way he can address it right then and there. But on the other hand, he seems annoyed by her bugging him with notes, too. Hard to read.......
But you're right- she is giving the air that she's in a board meeting and taking the minutes. Just like the professional she craves to be but never was.

I can't believe they posted those three pages and not the entire deposition. That's not journalism. I want to read the entire deposition. :banghead:

Guess it's all perspective, but I thought it made Jose look like an a$$. Ya didn't see JA having to make a formal apology to Jose and the Court to wiggle out of being sanctioned.

Yes, but he was trying to be more shocked at JA's reaction than what Baez and Mason were doing. It didn't exactly paint them in a great light, but it frustrated me that it was supposed to be shocking that JA lost his cool with them when they started it, and he's had to put up with their BS for three years now. Hal conveniently leaves all of that out, and instead, it's more "Oooh, look at the mean, out of control SA!" Whatever. I'm just going to try ignore the pro defense slant from now on. If the defense is this desperate this late in the game to try and sully the rep of the SA, they must have beyond nothing to bring to court.

Love this thread! But I would dispute the inclusion of "sarcasm" in its title. Sarcasm requires a certain degree of wit, which Baez does not possess even in the half. The snark he has by the bucketload.

JB an excellent teacher. For any young law student, I would think them very sharp to take note of everything single thing JB is doing in this case. Then, when they find themselves defending their first client and things are getting ruff think, "What would JB do in this situation," and do exactly the opposite. IMO, they will be off to a fine start and a promising carrier. :banghead:
