I thought that was a classic by the lovely Miss Linda. Baez has some nerve trying to use professional and courtesy in the same sentence.

Has she really not learned to just answer yes or no or else risk giving up info she didn't mean to as well as playing right into whoever is questioning her's hands? She also seems to get lost very easily. Doesn't seem to be able to follow the flow of conversations/questions. Very strange. Anybody else notice how she seemed "not quite all there" while she was a witness at the last hearings? And watching her from the side (that's where the camera is) while she was on the stand, she was blinking alot....like she was having trouble staying awake or something. Something is not right with her IMO.

First let me say that I am a HHBP devotee, I simply LOVE the man and I marvel at his knowledge, he has the ability to at times finish the attys sentences when they are referring to different legal matters. That being said, what I observed today and in the last few hearings, the way the defense team Jose and Chaney have been acting and some of the things coming out of their mouths, I find reprehensible. If I were a taxpayer in the state of Florida, I would be on the telephone to my elected officials. This trial is disgraceful and Jose's attitute and unprofessionalism is appaling. This is a trial about a child's death (murder to be exact) and he has the audacity to sit and smirk. This is serious and the people of Fla are paying for you to sit and "act the fool" on their dime,you are truly wasteing the courts time and money and JB thinks i'ts "cute". I am not putting all the blame on HHBP but he must reign Jose and Chaney in. This case is being seen through out the world, is this what we want people to think our legal system looks like in real life.? I know some people have said that he will "reign" them in at trial,well I think they need to start practicing professional legal manners in the court room before this turns into a circus. JMHO:banghead::maddening:

Love this thread! But I would dispute the inclusion of "sarcasm" in its title. Sarcasm requires a certain degree of wit, which Baez does not possess even in the half. The snark he has by the bucketload.

I truly believe Baez is in the wrong profession...

What I saw was accusatory tones, pompous actions and downright disrespectful. I do believe if Baez continues with this attitude, the jurors will not like him and in turn not like his client. I truly believe this is not Baez profession...he should look for another..

I also thought, this man is not DP qualified so why is he questioning witnesses in his unusual style. He was to be lead attorney only, but here he is arguing motions...Could this be his intent? To have ICA use him as a reason for an appeal? Although, ICA seems very pleased with Baez and I believe that is due to his being so accusatory towards LE and this wonderful Dr. Vass...I felt so bad for them yesterday as he tried to twist the words...false positive...the Canine handler Deputy Forgee told him, I never called it a false positive, you did...

I also noticed how His Honor had to reel in Baez to keep him on track...look at the four corners of your motion....:loser: Does he not get what a Frye hearing is??? I think Baez neeeds to go back to the drawing board and look for a new profession...this attorney hat doesn't fit him...:banghead:

It is very aggravating that the DT constantly rips on "blogs" but at the same times takes what certain members formulate, figure out, dissect, conclude etc and uses it to their advantage. I love reading all of the comments, thoughts, and actual law based opinions here but if frys(yes i know it is spelled wrong) my bottom that they get to use the wonderful minds of people for the own gain and openly bash these same folks. I wish they could not see what is being said on the blogs...

I agree. I posted over on the questions thread that I found it bizarre (to say the least) that the DT is actually reading blogs in real time while in open court arguing for somebody's life. Strange indeed.
