Trial date is looking like late this year or early 2023. The case seems like a slam dunk from the information I have been given but please keep me in your prayers as I have made the decision to testify against this monster and you just never know which direction these things will go.

I looked earlier after seeing this on local news in hopes that we had a thread here and I’m glad it was kept up. I wonder what this new evidence is? There’s a lot on here about witnesses.

It very well could be another county if there is some security or profile issues.

They aren’t holding him. He was out on bond 4 months after he was arrested in March 2021.

I’m just guessing but I think that new evidence is DNA related.

I have some bad news to report. I have been following the case online and as of April 21, 2023 the case has been dismissed against D.Deboy. I have no news on why.

Hello here is an update. I am Aprils youngest sister on our mother’s side. They can not prove beyond a reasonable doubt bc of my sisters line of work. A couple days ago was her 45th birthday. We love and miss her so much

Deboy has maintained that he was the last to see her alive and he used a choke hold to kill her

David DeBoy was indeed released from jail. The Greenville County Sheriffs Dept. did not even let us know this was about to happen much less a possibility that it could happen. Thanks to April's friends in Greenville, we were directed to a county jail web-page listing his projected release.

David DeBoy had been arrested after a good size article was published in the Greenville Newspaper about 5 years going by and still no arrest and no answers. We were always just being told the COLD CASE TEAM had the case now and are working on it. That's it! There have been several articles in the newspaper there. (www.greenvillenewsonline.com) I don't think their archives go back that far. I couldn't find them although I have actually read them.
The charges were dropped in December 2006.

A few more facts:
April and David were about 1 month shy of finalizing the divorce. The hold-up was custody issues. David wanted residential custody and it had been determined in court that their son Tyler would reside with April, and David would have plenty of visitation. They were not divorced at the time of her death. Therefore, David had all rights as to where April would be buried and so on....She is buried in an unmarked grave and her family can not have a marker put there without David's permission which David will not allow! David has custody of Tyler and April's family has not seen him since she died. And, because they were not final yet on the divorce, David received everything that belonged to April.
It was known to everyone that knew April, David was extremely abusive. This is documented in police records.

I know where Deboy is. He lives next to me in Silver Creek Landing RV Park in Stella, NC. He has been terrorizing the entire neighborhood for about 9 months. Just two days ago, he sent his dog out to attack 3 residents passing by. Earlier this month he assaulted me. I have videos. There are charges on him and he is being evicted soon, but he keeps evading the police. Please tell your local PD that investigated the murder that he is here and making a LOT of trouble. I’m praying you all see justice done for April.
