Report: Woman, 34, charged after couple finds her in baby's nursery - News - GoUpstate - Spartanburg, SC

The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office was called to Fifth Street in Inman shortly after 10:30 p.m. Friday when residents at two addresses reported finding a woman in a red dress in their homes.

34-year-old Brandi Nichole Almond, entered both residences between 9:30 and 9:53 that night.

Almond repeatedly told the man and his wife, “Give me the baby,” and tried to take the baby away from his wife. Almond then lay on his front lawn for several minutes before going into a second residence on Fifth Street.

She repeatedly yelled as deputies attempted to restrain her. She was taken to an area hospital and then to the Spartanburg County jail. Almond was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

OMG. She's lucky those parents were patient. If she broke in my home while I had my grand baby, and she demanded I give her the baby, It might have gotten ugly.

Looking at the article about her arrest in 2016, it seems she‘s a frequent flyer. I wonder why they released her that quickly.

Spartanburg Co. woman accused of shooting towards deputies
Brandi Nichole Almond, 32, of Inman, has been charged with three counts of attempted murder. She's also charged with pointing a firearm at a person and third-degree assault and battery.
She was taken into custody and deputies found after running a criminal history that she was prohibited from possessing a gun or ammunition, according to the report.

She's also accused of busting a man's lip with a cell phone.

The sheriff’s office said the father asked Almond what she was doing, and she began repeating “give me the baby, I got to go, they are coming.”
Almond struggled with deputies as they tried to put her in the back of a patrol car, according to the incident report. As deputies tried to restrain Almond, they said she was yelling “monkeys are out to get me.”
