What happened to just needing one more piece to put this all together and there 3 to 4 POI! RRRGH frustrating. Still hoping Brittanee is found one day.

I am beyond frustrated with the MBPD. I can't even imagine how her family feels.

There was a body found in Mt. Pleasant, SC. There is not much info yet but I am always thinking of your Brittanee. I also posted this in another forum but am not sure it is the right one, so anyone or mods please feel free to move this.

A comment by a teenager who had found the body referred to the remains as "he", in the comment section so it seems unlikely to be Brittanee. It sure seemed there for awhile they had strong leads, doesn't really seem like that now.

Another article has been updated and says The Charleston County Coroner's Office says the body appears to be that of a man.

I took the kids to Myrtle Beach two weeks ago. I couldn't help but think of Brittanee and feel sadness for her family who is so desperate to bring her home. We stayed on that strip where Britt last was I really consider it a creepy town. Lots of sketchy people just walking dark streets. I did not see any police vehicles or presence there. It doesn't feel like a safe place at all.

I haven't read all of Brittanee's threads and was not a ws member but followed along with the local news during her time missing. I can not belive that she has not been found after all this time.

Come home soon Britt!

They identified the man found but not much new info added. RIP

Yes Lizzy this is my dog when she was just a pup! She is a beauty, love her!

Today is 7-31-2011. Tomorrow is a brand new month and a brand new day. I pray each day that it will be the day that Brittanee is found. I remain faithful that with each new day, we are one day closer to bringing Brittanee home.

Authorities plan to announce new developments in the Brittannee Drexel disappearance Monday morning.

Crime scene tape has been placed around units 22 and 24 of the apartment complex.

A resident said a man who was once questioned in connection with the case at one time lived in unit 22.

Law enforcement officials have put up crime scene tape at a Georgetown County motel and expected to release information about New York teen Brittanee Drexel, who was last seen while on spring break in Myrtle Beach two years ago.
