I was trying to put my own timeline of known facts together. Does this look accurate? Anything need altering/removal/adding? TIA As an aside, and I'm sure this has been discussed before, and again correct me if I'm wrong, but if my math is right, BD had to have been taken somewhere within about 500 feet of that camera location. LE said it takes 15 minutes to make the walk from Blue Water to the camera location. The average human walks 3 miles/hour (5,280 feet/60 minutes or 88 feet/minute). She left Blue Water at 8:48 and sent the last text at 8:58. That accounts for 10 of those minutes. In 5 minutes, a person would walk 440 feet at the above rate. Working backwards, that means the abduction occurred within 440 feet of that camera location assuming pace and continuous walking. Probably spent time working out the math that's been done 1000 times already, but does that sound right?
I appreciate this, it's the sort of thing I find very useful. Somehow I thought there was a lot more texting going on than this. Not much to add to this, particularly after that 8:58 last text she made. So far I've seen nothing to change my suspicion that the perp was someone peripherally connected to the the girls that she was rooming with. What I would find extremely pointing to them would be the LACK of any calls to BD from them. My understanding was the girl wanting her shorts back was throwing a fit. Well if after say 15 minutes, an hour, etc... why wouldn't you call or text BD asking were the hell she was? If she were especially persistent before that and then it suddenly stopped... that would be a red flag to me. My understanding is that these girls changed rooms that night. Why? What time exactly?
I also agree roughly that she was 2/3 of the way back to her hotel. It should have been in visual range. The only way I could see her getting into a car voluntarily is if it contained someone she knew. Involuntarily doesn't quite make sense to me because of her phone being left on and staying with her. If she were "snatched and grabbed", it's inexplicable that her phone stays on traveling with the vehicle. One of the last things you would want is your location being tracked (as a perp). So why not just leave the phone behind, shut it off, remove battery, etc... To me this highly points to her being in a vehicle with someone that she knew. If PB or one of his crew followed her from PB's hotel, they would have been on camera. What about cameras at BD's hotel? I would be checking very carefully anyone leaving (especially one or more of those girls she was staying with) in the hour or so before her last text. Also there may be cameras that show visitors to the girls rooms. Are any of those visitors on cams leaving the hotel prior to 8:58? What about pinging those people's phone locations?
And hey this might be NSA kind of stuff, but the FBI should be able to do it too... What about listing all phone numbers to ping within a few minutes before hers and after hers as her phone traveled from last text location to point where it stopped pinging. How many phone numbers would be following the same route at the same pace? My guess would be a handful maybe 100 at most. That's a fairly short list of people to check on and cross check their association to BD's "friends" and further pings parallel with BD's earlier known locations. That list might be as short as 1 person.
But even if I just had a list of 100 people who's phones pinged that route from her last text to shutdown, it shouldn't be too time consuming to check those people out. The list could be whittled down by eliminating people who couldn't have done it... for example a couple in their late 80's driving to FL.
OR maybe a family with 4 kids in the car that day, etc...
I can't believe I'm the first person to think of identifying pairs of phone pings that follow a distinctive pattern. If so, the FBI needs to hire me.
Well then if there are no parallel pings, then no other phones on in the vehicle. That would point to someone either technologically impaired or someone who planned it that way(premeditated). I just have a feeling that if her phone were left on, she got into that vehicle voluntarily. And another phone pinging the same path with very close timings is more likely than someone without a phone.
