Brandy Rennee Hanna seems like she could be a possible victim as well

To clarify why I stated this. The interview the dad gave earlier today he was asked if their were other possible victims. He did not answer the question. Also as he stated the FBI is offering a substantial reward. They don't do that. Ever. This clearly is not an isolated event with Brit. While I do feel she is the closest they have on catching them. I feel that this will be the resolution to a number of cases not only in SC but possibly others as well. This family is reminding me of the Brittney Wood family.

I think so too, that there may be other missing people related to this, I also picked up on CD slipping and saying that they want a life sentence or even death penalty for the people, so they have to be certain, if they are gonna charge 12, so I think there are lots involved, a ring of sorts, and they have been doing this for a longtime. If it is in fact this group of brothers, and more, how does one explain their criminal history already and how they are still walking free? Sounds like the judges or whomever keeps letting these guys off and out of jail may have some fault here, anyone else agree?

BBM. It's been said but pretty sure he was referencing the jury, I doubt they'd try to get the death penalty for 12 individuals

I have just finished watching CD's interview. It is abundantly obvious, when the female mentions the similar abduction shortly after Brittanee's, that Chad is more or less nodding in agreement. I don't think it matters if the Ts find out that they are the primary focus because quite honestly I'm sure that they already know they are. They know that they held Brittanee captive and they know that LE could not know this unless someone told them or if they found evidence.

Can we please discuss the fact that Chad mentioned the number 12 when talked about how many times he wanted the death penalty pressed. TWELVE. That is either a multi-generational household or it is a trafficking ring.

And then he mentioned that this is a case worthy of a movie not just an NBC story. It sounds like what he's saying is that this is a multi-faceted organized crime. These are skilled and polished criminals who have done this before and will continue to do it if given the opportunity.

CD was referring to a unanimous verdict of 12 for the death penalty.

Curious if anyone has looked into the T brothers to see if any of them have recently split up from a long time girlfriend or divorced?

So many times I've seen where LE has revisited cases after several years and the original alibi's (wives/girlfriends) admit that they lied.

Maybe an ex wife or girlfriend came forward?

There are also 7 older generation Taylor brothers in MC, all referred to as 'adopted', one of whom has the same name as the older BT sex offender referred to earlier.
If indeed the same, this gives an inkling of how large this clan really is. And all still living there.

This case is more and more reminding me of the Lyons sisters and that messed up Welch family. But, I think that this is a trafficking case that went bad.

They didn't give a direct answer to that question in the press conference either.

I noticed the FBI agent also dodged answering that particular question during the Q&A at the PC.

A reporter asked if he thought Brittanee's disappearance/murder is connected to other cases and he didn't answer the question directly. He just said this (meaning the PC) is about Brittanee and that's who we need to focus on right now.

Great minds think alike... posting at the same time! :)

Has it been confirmed Brittanee's ''friends'' associated with the Taylor brothers or is this unconfirmed?

This has already been answered... but do we know what the (unconfirmed) connection IS? Like how these groups allegedly know each other? Was that ever said?

Not the first time :)

I take the ambiguous answers to that question to mean that yes, there are connections to other cases. If it was no, they'd say no.

In the past that has been the case. In this case I think the drug connections come down through Jamestown from Orangeburg and the big I-95. I could see drug dealers from the backwoods of McV having a much needed secondary market at the clubs in MB at spring break. And they would also have close connections with bouncers, doormen and servers at those clubs. If the whole NY crew had been at a club ( did I hear she was seen in the VIP area of Club K? did she have a fake ID or did a companion slip her in w Rochester connections?) they may have mingled and "made friends" at that club prior to her getting in that car.
You really hit the nail on the head on this one. Don't forget Peter B. one of the NY "friends" was a "club promoter" although he wasn't even 21 years old. He wasn't even old enough to even drink in the clubs, all of them were drinking. He left Myrtle Beach at around 1 to 2 am in the morning after Brittanee disappeared and lawyered up as soon as he got home. I've always thought that the friends used Brittanee as a drug mule to pickup the drugs and deliver them to the respective hotels where they were staying. Only the drug dealers decided to grab her and take her with them.

I don't think the people of McClellanville feel like talking. I don't think I can post it, but a lady from that town started arguing with me over Facebook about "if BD was alive". I shut her down pretty quick, but when I lurked on her page she was very adamant in her beliefs. Like she was trying to protect her community. I don't trust that town. I'm sure whoever, whatever men kidnapped her, dumped her in the swamps. Wish she would have argued with me more.

I hope this case is finally coming to an end. I've never thought that the people she was with were involved and that Brittanee was abducted by a local or locals that were very familiar with the area and where to hide evidence/body etc.

and i'm leaning towards the T brothers.

Found this interesting. It was posted on one of the family members of Brits FB page. I'm sure it's been shared before but good info http://upstatecriminals.blogspot.com/2014/06/brittanee-drexel-shannon-mcconaughey.html?m=1
I for one am very glad that the FBI is involved in this investigation. I don't live very far from this area and it is obvious to me that something is very corrupt with law enforcement in this area. This Taylor family is into some big time dealing and word is that the law has been bought off for years to look the other way. Way too much crime, way too many missing and murdered young women going on. Everyone in the community of McClellanville too afraid to speak out. It's about time the FBI got involved.

Ok quoting myself. This is just getting really eye-opening. Another of the brothers is another pastor at another MC church.....

ETA- I'm posting all of these tangled webs trying to make sense of how these secrets have been kept for 7 years. There seem to be horrendous and decent people in this clan. The horrendous ones have been getting away with COUNTLESS crimes for a long long time.

Exactly!

LoneTraveler exactly what I am thinking, if you read the articles on what these guys have been arrested for, and dismissed of, it's kinda mind blowing, how any of them are walking free. Sounds like this goes deeper and will trickle down to involve important people too, I hope the FBI getting involved will help clean up shop around there. Brittanee may have lost her life but she will hopefully be the GIRL that finally put an end to the monsters and for that she's the hero.

I highly doubt they paraded Brittanee around the streets of McClellanville for 5 days. They definitely didn't buy her clean clothes or a toothbrush. It's more likely she was chained and/or drugged the entire time. Hidden away from everyone except those involved. Yes there is a family with lots of ties to the area who seem to get away with a lot, but the whole community isn't guilty. JMO.

I remember reading in another thread, maybe #15 where someone had referenced a newspaper article about the arrest for the attempted abduction after Brittanee, and how the comments after the article were telling and mentioned a commenter in particular. Did anyone read this, I couldn't find comments I think cause I was on a iPad and not a desktop computer. I wondered if this person thought the comments were made by one of the perps? I think the comments were by black87 or something?

I just looked up their names on BeenVerified & their rap sheets are a mile long (& not just minor offenses either). I'm writing all of the charges down and will post them in a few (without naming names, of course)!
