I've been distracted by life. Any insight into a poi moving out of the area and now professing religion? I do recall someone that I discovered earlier. My prayer is this case is going to bust open soon for Britt and her family.

RKT moved out of the area and now acts really religious. Is that who you're referring to? I don't think he is a 🤬🤬🤬 in Brittanee's case (at least not publicly).

Phug it. I would arrest everyone and everything for the most simplest infractions and threatened them to talk. Jmo.

I would also arrest every drug user in certain areas until someone spills the beans. Jmo

It's likely this might happen. Someone will get hit with some charges that stick and eventually open up about BD in hopes of a lighter sentence.

You guys, I am appalled.

I listened to the link posted here earlier containing a clip of the radio show. I don't know if I heard the whole thing because it was so short and only included the reporter from SC mentioning the rumor about a possible party in Rochester before the Myrtle Beach trip and also the fact that Brittanee tried to escape once and that's what got her killed. That's the part that literally shattered my heart. I cannot imagine how hurt and scared she was during all of this and for it to just end that way! And this reporter seemed to know how Brittanee was killed! Anyway else pick up on that? He emphasized that this was a brutal murder -- almost like he knew exactly what happened. I trust LE does and I trust they told her parents. Facing the unfortunate facts, we know how Shannon was murdered and this is probably no different. So sad but probably true.

I have now pulled forward several places that LE focused their searches on in past years. One area of interest was in Georgetown County off of Powell Road, Corner Loop. and Belladonna Court. They also focused near the areas of Rutledge Road and Old Georgetown Road -- is this area considered North Charleston? And we also know they spent quite a bit of time in the area of Seven Mile and Old Collins Creek Roads (this is nearby where the cell phone tower is) -- isn't this McClellanville? LE stated they know Brittanee was held in at least three different locations. Georgetown, North Charleston, and McClellanville. What are the chances that these are the three areas? They always reported they didn't find anything substantial in these areas but clearly we know that's not true. They have said they have exhaustive evidence Brittanee was brutally murdered so they found it somewhere (assuming that the evidence is more than just word-of-mouth)!

I'm so saddened to see more drama coming from each side of this family. I wish they could work together on this instead of blatantly taking jabs at each other through the media. Everyone is upset. No need to make anyone more upset. And clearly there is no need the jeopardize the investigation. I do think LE is being very tight-lipped but they must have their reasons. That said, I don't think stating that they have named suspects is going to harm anything. To be honest I thought this all along?! There were definitely already suspects in the court of public opinion. What could hurt things is saying that Brittanee tried to escape and was killed as a result. How many people could know that? You wouldn't get physical evidence of that. It came from someone's tips -- someone who has intimate knowledge of this case. Additionally, I can't imagine someone knowing that information without knowing who did it. Agree or no?

Brittanee's sister posted on Facebook just last night that she feels they are getting close to solving this case. I hope she is right! But it's hard for me to keep my hopes up when I think back to just how many times over the years LE has stated that they just need that one keypiece of evidence to close this case. We've been hearing it for years. I just hope it's true now!!

Here's what I am theorizing after being awake most of the night watching ID channel due to being sick. One case went on for years and the original detective was reassigned to another dept. After a number of years the detective was reassigned back to homicide. He and his partner revisited the unsolved case. The detective requested cell records for every phone that pinged off the tower where the victim's phone last pinged at the time of the murder and connected the dots which must have taken untold hours. I can't recall the number of phones that pinged off that tower during the requested time frame because I was half asleep but I want to say 200,000.

I am thinking that wireless technology advances and LEA's catching up with the cyber world in investigations the past 10 years will help solve many crimes. Same with advances in DNA.

I'm still thinking about Moody. I wonder what became of the search of his former apt and his vehicle. He is a nefarious character, I wonder if he knew and of the T gang. moo

I thought about him the other day too for some odd reason. I wondered if he by chance knows the T's. When LE searched his apartment they did have bags of evidence but nothing was ever revealed about their findings. I would like to know their reason for considering him a POI beyond the fact that he was an RSO living in the area at the time. Certainly he wasn't the only one. I'd like to know more.

Moody was in MB that weekend. He got a traffic ticket there the next day.

Who is the mod for this thread? I need to ask a question please.

I think it's Coldpizza.

Yeah, I know. But is he the only RSO that was in the area that day? Probably not. That's my question...why him?

Here's what I've gathered on why Raymond Douglas Moody is, or at least was, a POI:

I wonder what vehicles were registered to Moody at this particular time. You don't kidnap someone on a motorcycle. Was he working? Would he have had access to a company vehicle?

BBM. Unfortunately I don't believe advances in wireless technology will help solve old cases like advances in DNA would. Ping data gets more accurate with time because there are more towers and the towers get more advanced. Those advances are not going to make old ping data suddenly become more accurate because the old data was retrieved with the towers and technology that were in place at that time.

A similar comparison would be with digital cameras. Pretend I took a photo in 2009 with a digital camera and it was 3 megapixels in resolution. Today there are 20+ megapixel cameras, but I can't change the 2009 photo to be 20 megapixels in resolution because it was taken with the old camera. Hope that makes sense.

Maybe the proximity of his apartment compared to the pings? I think his apt. was right in the area of the path that her phone traveled.

Maybe Moody had a drug debt and delivered a girl instead.
