He was a named POI back in 2012. Of note, the day he got the ticket is the date they think he buried Brittanee (at the press conference they said he buried her "on or about April 26").

A traffic ticket shows that a person of interest in the case of missing New York teenager Brittanee Drexel was near the location the teen was last seen the day after she disappeared.
Raymond Moody,Georgetown, was pulled over by Surfside Beach Police Officer Steve Brode at 3:21pm April 26, 2009, according to the ticket obtained by News 13.

The ticket shows Moody was traveling 45 miles per hour in a 30 miles per hour section of 16th Avenue North and Cherry Drive in SurfsideBeach.

It also shows Moody was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle when he was pulled over.
The ticket indicates Moody paid a $133 fine and therefore did not need to show up to the set May 20, 2009 court date.
Thank you for this!! It was so long ago!

Would love details like how he got her, where he took her and if he told them where to find her. And what of the "alligator pit" and gang rape story?

I thought this day would never come, it seems so surreal. I’m glad her family has closure after all of these years. Rest In Peace, Brittanee. My heart is with her family and friends.

Liking a post is a form of acknowledgement that a person read it, or that it echoes their own sentiment. There aren't a bunch of sadists on here experiencing joy over the terrible things we read and learn.

Been talking about this guy for the past 11 years now! RIP Brittanee.
Now, it makes you wonder how many others he's violated and killed since then!

I’m completely shocked he was identified in 2011! (I remember her disappearance but lost track.)

I remember when this happened because the same year that she went missing was when I was vacation in Myrtle with family.

you "would love details"????? Seriously??? I don't know what in the hell has happened to the posting here but this place sure isn't what it used to be. Peace out.
People that have followed this case and listened to the parents podcasts would like more information. There was a gang of boys that were in the spotlight for awhile and it was very unpleasant. So yes. People would like to know if there will be anymore arrests and if they had any involvement in this or with Moody. jmo.

Warrant released. Killed by strangulation. Poor Brit. I’m just relieved it want the previous story we heard about with being held for days.

I kind of believe someone snitced on Moody. Someone who maybe knew but couldn't hold it anymore.

I honestly thought this case was never going to get an ending. I'm so glad she was found so her family can put her to rest.

I'm very interested in the alligator and group of party boys though. I really leaned towards that story myself, giving the location I suppose. But, I remember Moody being mentioned very early on.

I bet it was his prison wife who informed, to get him to go back to prison. Hopefully he'll be on death row instead.

Gives hope that Heather Elvis remains will be found too.

I keep seeing media reports about things in the warrants. Are they not going to be released for the public to read? I’d really like to read them myself instead of having reporters pick and choose what to report.
