  • human remains in the Rosewood neighborhood of Columbia.
  • wooded area along Mikell Lane off S. Beltline Boulevard...just south of Rosewood Drive, near Gills Creek.
  • The remains appear to be that of a man
  • a skeletal torso and a skull
One of the men who found the remains talked to WIS.
“We were just walking over the land and ended up walking toward the back side of the property and came across a torso basically, a ribcage,” ... then we walked a little bit further and found a skull...

I wonder if anyone has reached out to the church that's shown on his shirt?

William Carey Blackmight be a possible match. He disappeared a 40 minute drive from where the remains were found. He has fascial scarring, but is a few years younger than the estimated age.
