The Lexington Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a missing 17-year-old after the was forced from his home on Hendrix Street Sunday evening.

Witnesses saw Corvin Gardner and two subjects walking towards Barr Road, just off W Main Street in Lexington, around 10 p.m. May 3, 2026. The three individuals are believed to have gotten into a car and left the area.

Gardner is 5'8" and weighs 118 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has a large tattoo on his right forearm.

This is not good. Without a car description and or partial plate, this is going to be hard to track. Here's another article, no new info but a photo of some extensive tattooing the young man has had done on his arm. Lexington police search for teen kidnapped from his home

NOTE: You may spot a news article that pops up with a google name search re the drug trafficking arrest of some young men in Lexington, one with a similar name but it was in 2007 so disregard.

UPDATE - Investigators continue to search for Corvin Gardner and have been following up on leads through the night and morning.

There has been some questions why an AMBER Alert has not been issued and we need vehicle information in order to do so, per stated guidelines from the Department of Justice.

The support of county, state, and federal partners has been appreciated in this this ongoing investigation.

The Lexington Police Department is searching for Corvin Gardner, age 17 of Lexington, after he was forced from his home on Hendrix Street by two unknown Black males who were armed with handguns on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 10:00 pm.

Witnesses saw the kidnapped juvenile and two subjects walking towards Barr Road from Hendrix Street, and they are believed to have gotten into a car and left the area.

Corvin Gardner is 5'8" and weighs 118 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has a large tattoo on his right forearm.

UPDATE/LOCATED - Sema'j Corvin Gardner was found safe by detectives this evening with the assistance of the Lexington County Sheriff's Department and the FBI. This investigation will continue, and updates will be provided as they become available.
