SC SC - Demetria Jackson, 18, seen carrying bags, got into a car, Greenville, 5 May 2020

Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office are seeking information regarding the whereabouts of missing 18 year-old, Demetria Jackson who was last seen at a residence on Palmetto Avenue, yesterday morning at around 4:45am. Deputies learned that Jackson was seen getting into a white 4-door sedan, carrying several bags.

Deputies request for anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to call the Sheriff’s Office at 864-271-5210 or Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.

Was Demetria moving somewhere? Taking a trip? 4:45 AM seems very early.

I hope she’s found soon! I know she’s 18, but that’s still young to be heading out on your own, especially without telling family where you’re going. JMO

I wonder if they have an idea who she got into the car with or places she possibly may go to?

Carrying 4 bags...that’s not luggage for a quick trip IMO! I also feel having that amount of luggage means she willingly went wherever with whomever. I say that because I don’t believe she’d be given the time to pack 4 bags if she were being forced to go. Again, merely MOO.

Leaving @ 4:45am...either it was going to be a long trip & she wanted to get going or she wanted to leave at a time very few people would be awake to witness her leaving IMO.

I don’t think bags = luggage in this case. But, I agree with everything else you said. She clearly went willingly. We don’t know what was in the bags. My first thought was she could have been getting into an Uber/Lyft, but they would likely know by now if that was the case? As usual, not much info shared, and no follow up. sigh.

Found her FB - Current, she even posted today. Found it because she commented on a missing post from Missing People in America FB (May 9 2020) of herself. Saying "lol ya'll funny" when they updated it saying she was still listed as missing.
