High profile or not, many funeral homes donate their services. Talking about making up their profit later from a sincere gesture is wrong. JMO
Yes, we've seen this frequently, particularly in child cases. A beautiful My Little Pony casket was created for Maleah and donated to the family, Cupcake (Kamille McKinney) was honored with a princess carriage for transport, Lucas Hernandez - funeral services were donated...

This is not at all uncommon, and despite what we see here, there really are good and compassionate souls on this earth that understand the sheer devastation these families go through when a child is lost. They have been sentenced to a lifetime of pain and deserve every ounce of that love and support. MOO

Faye Swetlik’s family was gracious enough to allow me to share a few home videos of sweet Faye. She is loved by so many. @wis10

CT would have been 22 at the time, and the suspect was described as being 30-40. Honestly this sketch looks like any white guy with short hair and glasses to me. You could put it next to my brother, my boss, and a handful of my friends and say "maybe it was him!"

JMO
Everyone looks older to a 9-13yo.

I think maybe the complex/community will have more than one vacancy as I’m sure everyone with internet access checked out the RSO listings. Even tho it appears no RSO involvement in this case, the staggering number living so near makes me shudder. Moo

Even if the family knew and trusted the murderer it certainly does not make them 'trash.'
Sometimes there are no warning signs. There are plenty of potential killers walking around appearing to be normal human beings. There was likely no way anyone could have seen this coming or prevented it. Jmo

So true, even within a family unit. Just can’t take chances.
Multi family complexes can be especially tricky as a lot experience high turnover & no one really gets to know their neighbor/s & every neighbor brings their friends, family & acquaintances to the area. Therefore no one has a good grip on strange cars traveling thru. Moo

Today marks one week since sweet Faye was taken. I haven't stopped thinking about you and your mama baby girl. I wish things were different. </3

I might drive by the memorial today. I have to go that way to run an errand. I'm not sure if I can handle it though. Her preliminary obit details have been posted on the funeral website.

Anxious to find out more about the crime but I don't know how much LE will give up. What makes the crime even more terrible is that the possible suspect gave no chance of retribution by ending his own life.

I agree. And LE would also not have told the public there was no danger to the community. MOO

At the press conference they also emphasized that CT was not a relative nor friend of the family.

We are waiting for DNA evidence IMO.

I’m sure many suffer with a lifetime of guilt. The best mom in the world might step inside for popsicles or beverages, giving a pervert time to strike. Moo

I'm on top of my kids and as devoted and protective as they come and never stepped away for more than 5 minutes. This could have happened to me. That is why this is horrifying and incredibly traumatic and sad to me, and why I will defend this mother fiercely. She did nothing wrong. She is living her absolute worst nightmare.

If the murderer placed poor Faye's body in the woods (assumption, but likely?), why would that same perp place something of hers in CT's trash after the fact? IF the perp is CT, why would he go through the effort of moving her body and then put the item in his own trash can? Are the outdoor trash cans of the neighbors easy to access? In other words, IF CT disposed of the item, why put it in his own trash can rather than a neighbor's? We don't know who put the item in the trash or if s/he was seen doing so. Was it just about dumping? Did he no longer care about being caught? Then why move her body or dispose of anything?

I agree completely. This could happen to anyone.

I am definitely a helicopter mom and this could absolutely happen to me. I have two girls, they are almost 9 and 10. Even now when they're outside, I find something to do either outside with them or inside at the door where I can see and hear them. They are not allowed to be out there alone, both must go outside together and they've been told if someone pulls into the driveway or starts to walk up the driveway to immediately come into the house. Yes, this could still happen to us. Faye's mom did absolutely nothing wrong, IMO. I discussed with my husband if we would have looked for one of the girls for an hour before calling LE. Since we live on a super busy road, we probably would not have waited, but Faye, lived on a cul-de-sac which makes it completely different. Who are we to judge her? Being a mother is hard and we all make mistakes (but I don't think she did anything wrong). This poor woman has enough on her without us placing blame on her.

once the investigation is over we might get answers. I’m sure cam/video still being turned over to LE. Maybe someone captured something. Moo

We may never know the answer to some or all of those questions. And that's got to really be hurting her family because I'm sure they have the same ones.

Y'all have had an interesting morning on here but I see the only new real info is the obituary. I was hopeful thinking it had an accurate DOD but I didn't realize a family could choose the date she went missing if the autopsy couldn't determine a DOD.

This is going to be really horrible for them. Her BD is coming up so soon. Birthdays, anniversary of her death, Mother's Day, and Christmas will bring heartbreak. My heart goes out to them. These animals who kill children have no idea the suffering that rips into the hearts of their loved ones.

Photos on rental website Apartments.com show the inside of 602 Picadilly Square where the suspected killer lived and where his body was discovered Thursday.

It is listed as a two-bed, one-and-a-half bath unit measuring 1,100 square feet.

The listing also details nearby schools, including Springdale Elementary School where Faye was a first-grade student.

HB confirmed to DailyMail.com that the firm manages the property but would not confirm when Taylor moved in or how many people lived at the address.

they only care about their immediate desire, imo.
The killer also causes his family much pain. I can’t imagine what it would be like to raise & love a child capable of killing. I don’t think closure is possible for a killer’s family. Moo
