Does not appear to be an abduction
Why would the FBI take DNA from one of the male residents? Is this protocol? Where was mom's boyfriend, did mom call boyfriend before calling cops, how long did the grandma stay outside with Faye....

Mom was the only one home

I don't think she was noticed missing at 3:45. She was last seen at that time.

She was likely noticed missing about 5-10 minutes before police were called.
Wish i could link.....but IMHO she was noticed missing at least by 4:42 pm.

There's 44 registered to the Cayce, SC zip code of 29033. Population of that city is about 14kish.

Cayce is a separate city but is actually part of a larger metropolitan area population wise. It runs pretty much right up and into West Columbia. Plus it and West Columbia are right across the river from downtown Columbia. That being said, 44 registered sex offenders for a zip code seems like a lot.

I got a lot out of that press conference, reading between the lines. You can tell the poor Chief is exhausted. IMO and I have been wrong before, there will be an arrest very soon. Prayers for this wonderful child.

I have no idea if that’s protocol or not, but seems concerning. MOO

Is her home a duplex? Red car parked there could belong to neighbor in other side of home?
It very well could. The implication is still the same, regardless of those vehicles’ owners.

Foul play, or atleast the strong suspicion of it.

Two cars towed and/or being investigated and no Faye. Not giving me a happy feeling. JMO

Yes, I know, I live here. It is a lot. Columbia is teeming with SOs.

Agreed. Just sort of posted the same thought.

If law enforcement towed a vehicle, then they likely believe it related to a a crime. I think they know what they’re dealing with, and are looking closely at someone.

I’m wondering if the towed vehicle was observed on one of the security videos driving somewhere around the time she went missing.

I agree. They’ve searched the porch area, they’ve towed some cars, they don’t believe it’s an abduction, and IMO they aren’t treating it like a child who wandered off. MOO

LE did it in the trailer park with the male residents in that community in the Jenise Wright case in WA
