grant is a career criminal includes kidnapping, assault, he has served time, drug charges, he is overall a bad guy

there is another missing 18 year old female for a month and she was last seen with grant. they are also exploring this.

This case took a quick turn.

bullets found in his house during first search so first charged and arrested sunday on federal firearms charge because he is a convicted felon

they have not found her cell phone

they found her dna

blood on duct tape

junk yard is right across the street from his house. It is a location they have determined they need to search. That is why they are there.

they have a timeline they established with phone. it happened shortly after the mother left.

No forced entry into house

he was there earlier that day doing yard work and cutting the grass

Gabbie's mom is not doing well.

LE says it is hard enough that a child goes missing but then to find out it is someone she knew.

A monster came in that morning.

they are using search dogs, all kinds of equipment to search the junk yard

60 fbi agents involved

it went straight to major crimes unit when missing persons officer realized something was off with the case and it was not a runaway situation.

grant's house was searched when they went up to talk with him last week

they got a search warrant for his dna

he was uncooperative from the start

I'm home sick today so I was able to check the websites freely...I'm glad they caught the BIG (swearwords here) who did this. Poor Gabbiee. That poor mother. This is not the ending I was hoping for. Not at all.

This is a horrible outcome!

Stalker? Or maybe he used the grass cutting to case the neighborhood & came back at night to pick up things he had seen left out during the day or note if windows were left unlocked/open.
