Ok been getting caught up and something is gnawing at me. We know that HE talked to her roomie and they talked about old, married geezer or whatever we are calling him, so if O.M.G (LOL I just cracked myself up with that) convinced HE to meet or whatever wouldn't you think that HE would at least text her roomie something like "Geezer won't stop pushing, gonna go meet him, wish me luck." Or something like that? Young girls share EVERYTHING that happens in their lives. I know that I did.

Not always......if roomie was unimpressed with the idea of Heather having a relationship or seeing this guy, then I doubt Heather would have mentioned that she'd be meeting with him. Of it was me, I'd keep my plans close to my chest instead of sharing and then being chastised by my friend.

In my 'replay' in my mind, I see she went on a date with the nice young man...probably was getting/sending texts with OM.
She returned home... possibly spoke with OM and he may have said "I'm done, I'm leaving OMW (old married woman) for YOU"
In a 20 year old fantasy world, it was great and gushy at one time in a FANTASY world, but in reality...she was like "Oh crap...this is NOT what I wanted...I'm only 20 and now here's all this baggage AND a terror of an OMW in the mix"

idk... I just don't know.
I do feel this has to be over soon. It HAS to. Those involved aren't THAT smart to have this play out for long.
I can't get HE out of my mind.

We don't have any built into our calendar so we're already going one extra day in June...but, I'm praying this case will be resolved for months, by then. And, I'd love to be on here when we get a resolution, of some sort. Praying today will be the day, but if not...would love to be here following up tomorrow.

I sure hope so. I have a feeling her date missed a lot of texting, maybe even some calls. No offense to him, but if one is determined, one finds a way. She seemed never to let go of that phone, even during driving lesson. Maybe she was expecting his call all along.

Which has me wondering why Heather held on to her phone instead of passing it to her date for him to use her phone to take the picture. Maybe she was receiving calls/texts that she didn't want her date to see??

Started out clear and cool. Got downright warm. Now a front is moving in and wind has kicked up and raining.

Not to mention she didn't have to be at work until Friday which meant she had Thursday off at both jobs, unless I missed that part. IMO the perp most likely knew her schedule and that BW was out of town.

This is the part that bothers me the most. It had to be either someone stalking her with evil intent -- which does not sound like the married older dude had been doing -- or someone very close to her. Unless she picked that time herself to leave when no one would be looking for her for several days, which doesn't seem like her.

I'm wondering if OM was in love with Heather? Was OM really going to leave his wife?

I will speculate that I think OM did love Heather. I think they stopped seeing one another because possibly his wife found out, and if he had kids things get really really complicated and icky when a marriage with kids breaks up. So OM tried to do right by his kids (totally my speculation) and stay with wife. Then Heather goes on a date with another guy and OM comes to the realization that he cannot live without Heather because he loves her.
He reaches out to her to tell her this and that's all we know.

Then Heather disappears.

The fact that Heather goes out on a first date with someone and hears from OM on the same day cannot be a coincidence. I think it speaks to OM's lingering feelings for Heather.

Thinking back to my 20 yr old mentality...I would probably have been majorly infatuated with an older man's attention. Making me feel older, sexy etc (all those things 20 yr olds that want to grow up fast like to feel). I may would have even copied my om on the pic I sent to my dad of me learning to drive a stick.

If something similar were to happen, it could explain any coincidence of he receiving a call same timeframe of date....jmo

If whatever took place was not premeditated, they may not even have known or cared if she was alone. I mean, a lot of people travel the week before Christmas so it is not that unusual that her roommate might be away. And they could not have known she would not be missed by her family for nearly two days. Maybe married guy called because it was a convenient time for him.
