^^^doesn't mean it would not happen. Women often blame the other woman, just as men may go after the man his wife is cheating with.

There are just too many millions of places to hide bodies, in any state or county. Only sheer luck, or very specific pings will lead to Heather, IMO.

Have to disagree with the millions of places, cluciano63. If HE is deceased, the body disposal location will likely be in an desolate area the perp/s are familiar with, imo. Hopefully with the info gathered during the investigation; phone pings, interviews, eyewitness accounts, cyber forensics, search areas ruled out, etc. This location can be narrowed down by investigators..

  • #222
Do you think she would have acted on it? & who would be involved? (Not sure how the leaping emoticon got in here).

I do. I think she would most definitely act on it. jmo..

I want to believe that, except the dogs didn't get her scent leaving from her car. Even a day and a half later, they should have picked up something.

Where was it said that dogs were there? I came late and missed a lot!

Depends upon who perp is, if they travel regularly and if anyone is helping LE build an idea of where he/she might go. If it was so easy so to speak, I think many other missing persons with POI's would have been found. JMO

I am late to this story so sorry if this has been talked about already.

Has there been a time line of when the car got to PTL? Is there just oh it's been here for a while or a man went to go fishing on Wednesday at 7 am and the car was there?

The person that called about the car being abandoned there actually said it had been there since Monday.

I've always wondered if it really was there Monday. Like maybe Heather regularly met MM there at 6 a.m. before he went to work. That would explain why their phone contact ended at 6... because they were together then.

  • #226
It looks to me like there could be a million places within half a mile of PTL alone. Heavy woods, construction areas, riverbanks, bridges, ditches and culverts everywhere.

RE: except the dogs didn't get her scent leaving from her car

IF the dogs didn't get her scent leaving from her car, why did searchers spend over a week searching the water to rule it out?
Could the perp have lured HE to the water's edge and then backtracked to another vehicle to confuse investigators? Imo, the perp/s responsible for HE disappearance is very creative, deflective, manipulative, and calculating..

I wonder if the possible abusive and violent (from the police report) co-worker that works at the Tilted Kilt was employed and did he work there with Amber Berbiglia before she was murdered in May 3, 2013? Note Heather was hired after Amber (according to Heather's Aunt I believe), but I can't find info. if Amber was employed there when she died so to speak. A co-worker may have been aware of Heather's date and/or that her roommate was out of town. I'm not stuck on this guy, but...it does make me wonder.

I think that sadly, HE is deceased, & I think that she will be found soon. I also think that evidence will lead LE to her killer(s). & if any of the people responsible for her death are complacent that they will not be uncovered, I think that is an unfounded hope & that they will be revealed & charged w/ her death. My wish is for her family to recover from the facts that they will be presented with, & to try & move forward (I don't know that I could, if it were my daughter).
You don't know how much I wish I could be the eternal optimist on this thread, that she has gone off of her own volition, but I don't think that that will be the case...I don't think she would be gone this long, w/out contacting her family.

Ok, spill it sista! I have no idea what you are talking about! :waitasec:

O/T - Law Enforcement said the last "electronic communication" from Dylan was at such and such a time.

We discussed for days and pages and pages whether this meant a text, a phone call, a ping, initiated by Dylan, or received by Dylan, etc., etc.

Lot of coverage of that electronic communication.

Was HE talking on the phone at 6am and earlier, or receiving texts from OM? If texts, could it have been OM's wife pretending to be OM and asking for the meeting? How is a married person talking to HE on the phone at those hours? Is it possible that OM was being put up to sending texts/saying what he was saying by his wife to HE that night/morning to lure her?

Hello all :seeya: I've been slurking in the background for years now with numerous cases. I've never posted prior to this so bear with me if this seems meaningless or redundant.

This case caught my attention because of the deep connection with FB and statements already made there. I understand why we can't link/quote or discuss certain things going on there, but why isn't there some option to discuss factual up-to-the moment when it's stated somewhere else? I'm slurking FB then connecting back to WS and it seems that we waste so much time discussing things that don't have merit because if we head over to FB we'd already have the answer. If we're serious about solving and resolving, we need to have the most current info available. And so it IS, just not here. Possibly I've spent too much time following this case and I know where some of the most up-to-date info is located, but not everyone does. Just seems like we spend an immense amount of time spinning our wheels discussing what is already known somewhere else but that info hasn't yet been "brought home."

Don't shoot me before I say I think we have some very excellent sleuthers here! Deep minds, great ideas, amazing personalities and outlooks! We are sooooo lucky to have you all! God Bless, and please help bring Heather home!:loveyou:

Please don't be too harsh :scared: I'm just slurking :seeya:

I actually believe the coworker
was at hob not tk. But can't remember 100%. I seem to remember us wondering if that was why ng focused on hob.

He further told police, the report said, that he “called her to tell her to quit calling him and that was it.”
Police records discuss phone calls between Heather Elvis, older man as late as 6 a.m. December 18

  • Is it possible that HE was the aggressor in the relationship with OM?
  • Is it possible that HE got into an unexpected altercation with a person(s) that got out of control? A knee-jerk reaction that could be attributed to HE's sudden disappearance?
  • Was there an immanent fear of harm to or from HE?
  • Is the reason why no one is talking is because they are protecting one another? They are related?
I am sticking to my original theory (in general). HE went to PTL to meet with someone she knew and trusted IMO. Then, something went afoul IMO. I am very imaginative and could come up with 100 theories but don't want to do that.

We all need more info! Heather needs to be found. Period.

Lastly, and again IMOO:
  • Both HE and perp(s) know PTL area well.
  • LE is being "tight-lipped" because they really don't have any solid clues. There's no evidence so far that a crime has even been committed!
  • PTL was not originally thought to be a "crime scene" so, ANY/ALL evidence has been contaminated and destroyed at this point.
  • With my theory, I do not believe that HE was placed in the River or near her condo. If person(s) had a boat, then out in the ocean would be my guess or far away from PTL and Whitewater DR.
  • I do not believe that this case is related to the others in our area. Even though there are some other similarities, I just don't.
  • I think that it is a shame the the local authorities, LE, and our Elected Officials have not had a single press conference or have informed the public with an inkling of information! I'm not asking for inside info either, I'm just asking that they reassure the general public that they are doing everything they can to solve this case. Is that too much to ask?
  • I think that the local media is only reporting very "surface-level" information. Nothing investigative.

I feel great sadness for Heather's family, relatives and her "real" friends during this troubled time. It has consumed a lot of people including myself. I just wish that we all didn't feel so helpless in finding her – returning her home to her loving parents and family. But unfortunately, my hopes, like many others may never come to fruition.

Have we ever had this confirmed?
Sure, make me go back to the first four threads, see if I care.....

Here is the bit about dogs on the water:

"They have had people and teams of canines on the water."

http://www.wistv.com/story/24273295/horry-county-police-investigating-missing-woman

Here is where they searched with dogs on foot in the Socastee area:
"The Center for Missing Persons or CUE has had volunteers searching the water near Peachtree Landing since Elvis was reported missing and extended the ground search on foot with canines in the Socastee area over the weekend."
http://www.myrtlebeachonline.com/2013/12/30/3930882/search-for-missing-women-in-myrtle.html

I'm still looking for the one about the car. So many of these articles have changed and since we cannot copy the whole article, things get lost....I will update if I never find it after searching through the first five threads. I know it wasn't after that.
