Do we jnow for definite that it was OM which caused the crying. I forget?!

Yes, I believe it was contained in the first MSM article that referred to the unredacted PR which has now become public knowledge.

JMO before people jump on me - in this case (and others) it seems that information which could be helpful or pertinent in finding HE or at least come some way in explaining what has happened to her is being withheld by friends and/or family for fear of tarnishing her name.
The whole OM thing, for instance, only came to light because of other people

since this is a religious family I believe they would want to hang on to Heather in the way they'd like to remember her. I once helped a young pregnant girl out from a very rligious Baptist family. She was a party girl & the family was one of the big names in a smallish town. Her folks ended up adopting the baby & calling it theirs. It can be hard for young ones in these times to keep an "image". In olden times these things STILL happened but no SM around.

Heather's family has been very courageous through it all, I commend them for their grace through this tragedy. I really believe LE encouraged them to speak in a very round about way of the OM so that more facts would come out. It was evident that sooner or later the relationship would surface. Early on the family had high hopes of locating Heather unharmed but as time has passed and she hasn't been safely returned they probably feel as though they having nothing more to lose. They're willing to do whatever it takes to bring their daughter home.

Kudos to you for helping that young girl. What a kind soul you are.:loveyou:

Thank you. I couldn't remember if that was fact and searching via phone = headache and time consuming. It's easier to just ask

We can't completely rule out the "hostage" or being held against her will scenario. I highly doubt it especially because of all of the horrible thoughts that cross your mind in those situations, but Elizabeth Smart and the women in Cleveland - those cases lasted for years :(

Yes, from what we know of the room mates call with Heather that was the part of the conversation that made Heather very emotional.

Imo,I say it boils down to the phone calls period! If not for them there would be no crying on the phone to room mate, no questioning OM, no rant from Ms. OM and we would be pointing fingers at the former and present boyfriends and the scope of suspects might be larger.

Phone calls or text messages. I agree with you 150%!

Can anybody who has the full, un-retouched photo of Heather from the text/date driving please post it again? TIA

My DH is pretty good with PS and he has had some success with the cropped watch photo, but he thinks he might be able to do more with the full photo.

I will share if he gets anything conclusive. Right now, from the crop photo clear up, it appears to be about 7:35. Which would seem reasonable and put to rest the controversy about the text pic. Again, TIA for whatever help you all can provide.

If she ran away, she either walked away from PTL after little or no sleep and was seen by no one, or she sprouted wings. Or she had an accomplice who either went missing with her and we've heard nothing about it, or has managed to endure LE's scrutiny unscathed since Heather's disappearance.

Heather's gone because someone ended her life and then dumped her remains, in my opinion. I cannot imagine a scenario where she will return to her family alive.

Missing persons and murder cases are cases of lives abruptly interrupted by other persons. I believe LE can tell the difference between the trail of an interrupted life, and the trail of a life with a new direction.

I agree. I am 90/10 on the whole leaving on her own idea. I think it would be possible to leave and run off to another state & possibly not be seen that early in the morning BUT not likely. I don't believe anything 100% yet bc there is no physical evidence that has been released to us (the public) I just hope LE is on top of OMM as much as TV cops who go & search the house/car/phone records. I assume you need a warrant but the last known contact should be enough right? I mean if OMM didnt do it let's prove it & move on up the next possible scenario. *wishful thinking*

regarding "burner phones" I do believe they show up as unknown number. My grandson got one of these and called me from it. It didn't show up on my caller id. I didn't answer my real phone so he tried my cell. It showed up as unknown there too. Finally he called from family phone & told me that was him calling & his new number. Don't know if the same for anyone else, but I wonder if there might be call from unknown number on her cell & don't know if LE can get further details??

I'd really like to know more about the crying on the phone. I don't think OM saying he was leaving OMW would evoke that kind of crying. I wonder what ELSE was discussed that hasn't been made public?

Yes, I've never bought that this kind of news would make her "upset" and tearful. And I would think instead of back and forth phone calls into the wee hours, he would have come to her home and made the announcement personally.

And the story changed when LE showed up...

So I continue to believe that the 'I left my wife and want to be with you' claim was a theatrical lure.

I didn't mean towing companies. I've seen kids towing friends cars cuz out of gas. I've even seen kids towing cars cuz they met up & didn't want folks to see used gas. If at a late hour I can even imagine you'd tow a car from whatever location so as not to get prints on it.
also another crazy thot comes to mind-some ppl keep their cars really clean & wash it often. I've heard of where vehicles taken to car wash to dispose of evidence..

My apologies, I misunderstood you.

JMO but I have the view, possibly wrong, that the date was more of a night out to dinner with an old friend, not some great romance in the making. I do not think she was "done with" or over the married man.

Instant messaging may hold the clue. Apps such as Whatsapp are one of the more common ways for young people to communicate. Its quick and free! Conversations are stored on your phone. Im not sure whether they are retrievable remotely so not sure whether le would be able to check on any conversations but I bet that if there was any information to be gleaned it would be from IM rather than texts which would help

I'm late 20s and so are my friends and even we don't leave our phones. If we're not texting or IMing we are updating our SM (or I'm on here ;) ) My other half says im only not glued to my phone when im asleep or ill. Sign of the times I think.

I think it is on page 9? I may be wrong. The father said she was picked up at 7, they went to dinner, drove around for Christmas lights and then the driving and he received it at 10pm. But, please correct me if I am wrong.

I thot her drivers license was in the locked car at PTL?? that's why I said if no pockets heading out would always keep drivers license in car. Thinking further if I had a fake license to drink then I'd have THAT in my purse :moo:

True, or on Snapchat, where texts and pics are automatically deleted in a short time after being received. Perfect for an unfaithful spouse on the go! Ugh.
