The HE case reminds me so much of the ULL coed Mickey Shunick abduction/murder(LA). The community involvement, effective social media campaign, ms media, as well as the high number of locals on her websleuths forum thread.
Mickey Shunick's abductor; SK Brandon S Lavergne, confessed & led investigators to her remains to show that he was not the monster that he had been portrayed as.
Hopefully this same scenario will play out in HE's case..

He writes several times about his longing for his life to end, saying "I long for deaths release." He goes on to talk about the complete alienation he feels while serving time. Lavergne describes how he is no longer a man, a father or a son, but "in the eyes of society I'm a monster." He asks himself "was it worth it"?

Lavergne is serving two consecutive life sentences at Angola State Prison(LA) for the murders of Mickey Shunick and Lisa Pate.

Yes, yes and yes .... I couldn't agree more with your assertion of the similarities to the MS case, Foxfire. And even a DWT to boot. One thing that may become a similarity too is that in the MS case, there was a local's business surveillance footage (that was almost trashed) which captured the crime/perp. I betcha' something like that will come out in the HE case as well.

Prayers for HE and the E family.

There are horrible monsters and they walk amongst us!

LE hasn't shown their hand yet because what's odd is that TM and SM were both charged with the same offenses yesterday, but she was offered bail and he wasn't. Now the one that was offered bail is charged with a federal crime and the other one isn't (yet)? I think there is going to be a big announcement coming.

According to J. Reuben Long Dentention Center, the Moorers will not face a judge today #heatherelvis

Was getting ready to share that. Hoping it is incorrect but, on the other hand, it may give some more time for LE and SM to discuss things. :crossfingers:

Bail was set on SM later Saturday afternoon I thought

Actually, they were both given bail, but only Tammy posted hers (or someone posted it for her). I agree that there is more to come.

SM was offered bail. The same amount as TM. His bond hearing was just later than hers.

There is no way. When you love someone you do the best for them. That would making them face the music and still loving them.

Forgive the autocorrect. Tapatalk has a mind of its own. :)

According to J. Reuben Long Detention Center, at this time neither Tammy or Sidney will be facing a judge on Sunday.

In legal proceedings like this, you have to first be charged with something before getting a bond set. Now that Tammy has been charged with Kidnapping, the next step will be for her to stand in front of the judge to hear her bond amount.

As of right now, that is not scheduled to happen Sunday, pending paperwork, and efforts on the part of the Victim's Advocate. At this time, according to public index, Sidney has not been charged with anything further Sunday. http://www.wmbfnews.com/story/24785...l&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer

That's as far as I could read on the blog. My post #608 from yesterday in the previous thread. It was thanked 55 times. There are a lot of us who disapprove:

There is speculation here about gov't assistance or fraud. I didn't see photos of anyone using braces, crutches or a wheelchair, yet on the Disney travel blog she said they have a handicap tag & zipped thru at Port Canaveral because they used that permit..... That told me enough about these folks! I have serious issues with people abusing handicap permits. If you are issued one to use when grandma is with you, it's not ok to use it when she is not!

By the way, the question of why she had the tag has not been answered.

I wonder if the truck(s) were in her father's name (has this been verified) and the tag(s) were his. Curious to know if other truck(s) had handicapped tags.

If Sidney confessed, then I don't see any reason why he wouldn't say where Heather is.

There would likely be some serious lawyering involved in that - he gets x for giving up y. Now that TM can't control his speech, and LE is probably hip to the dynamics between them and how to work him, there might be some negotiations going on as we speak. They also may already know where she is and the next step is recovery.

I think Sidney would not be unwilling to throw TM under the bus once he feels confident he is 'protected' in some way or will receive a lesser consequence.

No pact she made him enter would carry more weight than what LE can offer him under the circumstances he's likely now facing. And LE knows that.

That's exactly how most sociopaths view their children: property, possessions. Don't know if that's what she is but I'd lay odds on it. What's got to be getting to her worse than anything right now is not being able to control the messaging about this case she was doing in Social Media. Well, that and she's not running the show right now. I hope she's about to find out she's not nearly as smart as she thought she was (another socio trait).

RE: I hope she's about to find out she's not nearly as smart as she thought she was (another socio trait)..

Although narcissistic sociopaths are often times very intelligent, creative, calculating, deflective, and manipulative. Many times they forget to factor in that it is estimated that upwards of four percent of the world's population is also sociopath..and can easily see their motives, hidden beyond their evil masks of normalcy..
Good triumphs over evil..

I wonder what the cutoff time is to bring additional charges against SM?

this is possibly a dumb question, but is there a time frame required to prove/accuse one of kidnapping? I mean, so many murder cases don't include kidnap, but, even if, day, five minutes of pleading, "please let me go", only to be shot.... the perp faces murder charges... I hope I'm clear, struggling to get words out clearly here... they say she drove herself to the landing.... what happened then?

I've got the alcohol and WiFi, but I was hoping you cooked too! ;)

You took the words right out of my mouth!

I do bake though if that's an extra incentive.

Hi! I've been a lurker for a while then recently decided to sign up...but have continued to lurk : )

I just wanted to say that since I started following this story, all I've wanted is justice for Heather and closure for her family. Now that both of those seem to be within arm's reach, I feel even worse than I did before. My mom always says that things tend to get worse before they better and I'm hoping that's the feeling of yuck in my bones. I feel the bandaid is slowly getting ripped off, exposing all the grossness beneath. Prayers for Heather, her family and everyone touched by this tragedy.
