I think LE is real close to blowing this case wide open.

Read the GMA interview with the Moorer's attorneys "Sidney will be exonerated" and "Tammy never met Heather". Circling the wagons has begun, now it will be the community and Elvis family creating a witchhunt, blah, blah, blah,

Well, isn't that special? Two liars being represented by the only two people who actually believe them. Ugh.

Do we have an exact date that TM found out about Heather and SM?

  • #486
I hate that it appears neither will talk/confess...but I never expected it, really. Maybe down the road. JMO

Snowyowl, great minds thing alike! :floorlaugh:

The date of the '66 days' tweet was November 5th...

I understand the Elvis family does not believe the 66 days is significant to this case. I don't know that I agree. A few things were happening around that time. I hope it was her sister's pageant; but, I just don't think so...

January 11th. Yes it was the day of the marathon, but it was also the day of the pageant. It was also my son's birthday. I'm leaning towards it being a reference to the pageant.

I don't this that the attorney that they appointed to TM was simply random. I believe they generally appoint someone like this based on death penalty trial experience. I believe mr. McCollum that was appointed is one of the better attorneys here in Horry county. I don't know if he has death penalty experience, but I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that if we look that he does.

Just MOO

Now, I want doughnuts!

No way these two will confess. I see them being in denial to the bitter end. I hope LE has them on camera doing something they deny.

Yeah, I know, but I wonder how many people will be there considering it's not exactly at a convenient time for most people.

I opted to stay home and follow online. Will be easier to get all the info IMO. :silly:

Maybe it was a significant day in which HE & SM had made a plan to finally get away together or something like that.

Me too, and agreed.

There's other business that needs to be conducted at the courthouse - I'm glad they changed the venue of the bond hearing to the detention center, in case crowds show up.

Without Heather's body (or significant evidence she's dead like pool of blood), a video, or a confession, what exactly could LE have to convict the Moorers? I feel like it has to be one or more of the three to convict them on kidnapping and/or murder charges.

If they had a video, you would think that one of the Moorers would start talking to get a deal, because that is pretty damning evidence.

It is a very bad idea to lie to your attorney. I've never been to a criminal attorney. Have a family member that was accused of something big that they didn't do, because he was an enemy of the accuser. He hired an attorney. The first thing the attorney said was "I don't care if you did it or not, but I need to know if you did so I can make the correct plan."

I have been thinking of the "more could be charged/ statement. If there are others involved. ...they should start talking. IMO
