Ahhhh, this post made me think of ACandyRose! I wish she was in a position to come out of retirement as this case would be perfect for her.

(For those that are new or not familiar with ACandyRose - she was one who kept information logged and tracked for Peterson/Anthony and other cases on another website that we here at WS were allowed to link to. Almost anything and everything was well documented and indexed and kept for future searching on her website. SHE WAS AND IS FABULOUS!)

To this day, there hasn't been another poster who has taken on such responsibility for another case and done what she did that I'm aware of.

:seeya: ACandyRose! :blowkiss:

retirement? say it ain't so... she's da bomb!!!

Depending upon the evidence, I am not sure how much benefit one would get by confessing, especially if she is not found. If the evidence is equal against both of them, neither can walk free by confessing, IMO. Still looking at long prison terms, I would think. Maybe a chance at parole one day? Not sure that would be enough to confess to a murder without a body. And especially since both seem to be denying any involvement at all. JMO

If I were the defense attorney I would be making a big case for a serial killer with all the bodies missing in HC. And just say that anything found of heathers was due to the affair

Ahhh, sophiebelle! Great minds think alike - or we like to think we do! :floorlaugh: That is exactly my train of thought. I believe TM had this meeting planned down to the last detail, left the car as a diversion (since Heather is somewhere else) and the car was one less thing they had to be concerned with after leaving PTL with Heather.

I agree on this. I think LE was looking for HE's phone and/or keys in the water. It's my understanding some smart phones have malware installed that enables a ping even when the phone is turned off. Some even have a built in battery back-up so they will continue to ping for a short time even after the battery is removed.

I don't think any chances would have been taken by taking the phone from PTL. I don't think they'd take chances on a body being recovered from PTL either. TM had seen HE's posts about Thailand, etc. I think they wanted enough reasonable doubt HE left town on her own to divert the investigation away from focusing on foul play as long as possible. (JMO)

I was searching around last night, FINALLY able to access a couple social media pages that shall not be named, Heathers, and was struck by a consistent theme of her particularly liked tattoos, anchor themed, 'refuse to sink', one wording (paraphrased) 'in the winter I will find my summer', one Bible verse struck me -can't quote, not in front of me....the multiple, multiple references to not being anchored/tossed by waves but unsinkable, again, strike me as somehow ominous now. Hope she comes home soon.

Actually, there was a picture posted of a fire pit with a creepy mickey mouse face in it, I have to search around here to find it , unless someone else recalls where the pic was posted?

Thanks. I have basically only been reading these threads so it is not like I have seen loads of images related to facebook, the searches, MSM, etc...I have not seen that pic you are speaking of.

Good morning everyone and welcome all locals and newbies!

Sounds like a bunch of us had a weird night. I couldn't sleep and got back up around 1 a.m. My dh calls it late night grazing lol. That's when I uploaded those pix of Sidney. When I did the upload... sometimes it asks you to type in the code you see. My code was "cheese and crackers". You'll never ever not in a million years guess what I was grazing on at the time.

Maybe we're all being given signs.

crazy!

I took a screen shot of my phone. just looked, it's on "south Carolina 707".... on a hwy, and i could see what looks like a hotel. I couldn't zoom when it happened. what's there?!

Is that site still available to view? I bet a third party connected to the Elvis family would admin something like that if the family thought it would bring any additional tips to help locate HE or more info to help the prosecution.

I have an iphone and I have a "find my phone" app on it due to my mind staying in lala land. I have to get on another phone or computer to use it. I wish Heather had this because it won't tell me that it's under my sofa, but it will show my address. I then can stop wondering if I lost it at the store.

What's funny to me though is how most people here and elsewhere online seem to think Sidney Moorer is soooo fugggg (jumping off my earlier post about how Sidney might've been attractive to Heather). Maybe it's people's distaste for Tammy's appearance/personality rubbing off on her husband. I seem to remember Scott Peterson always being described as handsome. Maybe just because Laci was so cute and so he was er, cute?, by association.

I agree the two men resemble each other, with the goatees and weird dye jobs.

I've been meaning to say this but I didn't want to get jumped on. I think they were both handsome men, in most pictures. Of course, knowing what we know now, makes me go ick! Of course, they are a "type". So, it that's not your type, that's fine. I remember being 17 (young high school grad) and going with a 23 year old man with a mustache and goatee. I thought he was the hottest guy ever. (BTW he was involved with another girl and then had a baby with her and did not tell me- I figured it out later but was still madly in love and believed a lot of lies about how she trapped him and he was only trying to do the right thing by her and the baby but that's another long story).

Now, not so much. Not into the facial hair. But my 26 year old son and his age group seem to be sporting this look again.

I am with you on this. A WS poster by the name of CharlieJ had posted he was on one of the searches and mentioned one of the items the searchers were told to look for was a cell phone. IIRC, that search was at/around PTL. I can't find his post - only due to my own ineptness.

IMO, TM liked puzzles/mystery and thought she was smarter than everyone else. In her mind, leaving Heather at PTL would have been far too easy for LE and more risky for SM and herself. JMO MOO

LE's dive team MUST have been acting on a tip from somebody.

If neither M gave up information about the water at PTL and they BOTH have first hand knowledge whether there's anything to be found there, then a police dive team like this would be letting the M's attorneys know (and by extension, the M's) that LE doesn't know as much as they've led everyone to believe.

Why would LE take a chance on bolstering the M's confidence unless they were acting on real information?

If I'm arrested and in jail for robbing a bank in Myrtle Beach and I buried the money in Arizona, then I'm gonna start feeling pretty encouraged when I hear that police sent a major task force to block off the road in order to dig up the empty lot beside a bank in MB.

I believe TM had this meeting planned down to the last detail, left the car as a diversion (since Heather is somewhere else) and the car was one less thing they had to be concerned with after leaving PTL with Heather.

And I was thinking, they could have taken a deceased Heather alongside in a boat of some sort, like dragging her through the water (sorry), so that her DNA would not be "in the Boat", and that could be one way of getting Heather out of the area without her being deceased inside a vehicle.
Throwing thoughts out here....
IMOO.

omg, the weirdest thing just happened! my phone shut off while I was looking at a recipe. I left it plugged in to the charger and went to get a cup of water- I came back and it's on, not the home screen, but a map, like google earth view? I could scroll around, it was socastee!! a hwy there, I've never mapped any locations, I've only looked at pics and articles! I got goosebumps, I'm the only one inside, I know nobody in my family randomly put a map of socastee on my phone! wth, I'm almost freaked out!!

Do you remember the specific location on the map that was showing?

This just have me chills because I had two very bizarre things happen last night that could not be explained in any way.

Does anyone know when the defense teams are given the evidence that LE has against their clients? Would this process have begun already or is after their next hearing later this month? Just thinking out loud, if TM and SM don't know the exact evidence LE has against them, they may not have any incentive at this point to make a plea deal or offer information.

Inquiring minds and all that.......

What kind of life would SM have on the slim chance he's innocent of premeditation here - if he was able to cut a deal by testifying against TM? He might be free after a time, but he would've "betrayed" his children's mother, his in-laws daughter/niece/sister/cousin. He could easily lose a custody case to the in-laws based on the lesser charges.

SM's children, home, and income are lost to him no matter what happens at this point.

Based on what we know of the M's relationship dynamic, SM may not believe himself capable of living alone as a grown-up.

SM would've been 20 or 21 years old when he married SM.
Does anyone know how long the M's were together before they married?
I wonder where they met.

I do not think he is guilty of premeditation and if he ever got out I think he could maybe restore his relationship with his parents and children because at some point they'd have to recognize that even though he made some really really poor choices in the end he did what was right (if he were to tell where Heather is and testify against TM).
Will he? Probably not, but I think TM drove a wedge between him and everything he knew before her. She probably perceived those things as threats, even his family. I think with some psychological hard work he could start new.
Who knows JMO
