The question I have about the payphone is do you think if it was SM that used the payphone to call HE and it was without ill intent. He called from there because he did not have his cell phone. What are the chances he would know her number without his cell phone?
How many numbers do you actually know? I can remember all my friends' phone numbers growing up so I have an excellent number memory but since the invention of speed dial or "favorites" I never have to dial numbers anymore. Without my cell, I could only dial a handful of people. Is HE's number something SM would have memorized?
I'm not sure.

I'd probably memorize a number if it was one I didn't want to store in my phone because someone has been known to snoop thru my phone. Just throwing that out there...

SM filed a PR that he was in a parking lot and two guys pulled up in a white truck and pointed a gun at him. He ran inside (somewhere) called police and he was taken to the hospital.

Eta: or click on the link above this post ^^^
Thanks Makaroni

I keep thinking about SM's hospital visit and trying to make sense of it.
I may be a tough mama and SM may be a whussy but...why go to the hospital after someone pulls a gun at you? You go to the police station.
I had been robbed, years ago, and was much younger than SM and am a woman...i went to the nearest LE station. Not the hospital.
His story sounds off. JMO.

What kind of young lady takes a pix of a reporter and gives the public the bird??? ESP. when family members are in jail for murder? JMOO

Not someone that I'd ever call a "lady" at all. IMO of course.

The story does sound a bit off, but maybe he had a panic attack and was afraid it was something more (heart attack or something?). I would imagine if someone had say, a guilty conscience already, that having a gun pulled on you could certainly trigger a panic attack or something of that nature. Or maybe he was afraid to go to the police station, if he already knew that LE had been watching him? Or maybe it was an attempt to validate himself as being an innocent person being harassed by local citizens, and try to garner some sympathy. Just throwing a few guesses out there. IMO of course.

I tried to research the word "ping" and kept getting that people can find you through the last tower. I was under the assumption that the last time h.e. used her phone was the 3am calls to sm. I was thibking the m's were trying to locate the phone by calling it at 6am. That would make a ping right? I've looked at a diagram describing ping but honestly I don't get the ping by the sites that were explaining it. I need lamen's ping. :) like if the phone were say updating a weather app would that make a ping also? Like an automatic update?

I hear ya!! My friend keeps explaining it to me and 24hrs later I am clueless again. :blushing:

I think it was just conjecture about what happened after 6am since we have no phone record/communication info after 6am. If the phone was off but people were calling and leaving messages or messaging wouldn't they show up on phone records?
If SM and HE were back and forth communicating from 2-6 then why would SM cease to contact her after 6am if he thought she was still alive? We know why HE stopped communicating.

I think the payphone call was "she'll be asleep. I'll meet you at 3 at oir spot." H.e. got there and sm had fallen asleep. She txt him then broke down and finally called him waking up both. just for show he says "stop calling here." An argument follows and sm says he's leaving to cool down. Tm thinks he's going to see her and follows. She stops at the spot sm had admitted to being with h.e. (one of the 3 times) she catches them there.

Unless they were working on building a case for a lawsuit..?

It is my opinion as well that PTL was a meeting spot between HE and SM. He's a dad, a husband. Sneaking away when he should be home would not be very easy but it would be easier if it were close enough to home that he could say something like "I'm running to the store for..." whatever: cigs, beer, gas for the lawnmower, etc..

He gets back and gets a "what took you so long?" and easily blows it off with an "oh, I ran into so and so, or I stopped to see the water level at the landing because I was thinking about going fishing, etc."

JMO, MOO.

I wonder if this IE was all about setting up an alibi. Knowing that they were video taped by an independent 3rd party would confirm their whereabouts. Interesting how the phone calls with HE from SM's phone would coincide with the IE video time wise.
That is true. I can't help feeling that figuring out the IE would help put a lot of this in place. It doesn't seem to fit in with anything else.

I wonder if there were calls on Heather's phone from that same, or other, pay phones? Maybe that was the way SM usually contacted her?

Doesn't make much sense to me, but I thought I would throw it out there.

Ping would only mean when a cell tower picks up the phones signal, like near a tower. Your phone doesn't have to be used to do this, your phone acts like a gps, so without using it it will pick up a signal for a tower.

This lead the murder to have occurred when last communication was made i.e. phone conversation, texts. After that the phone went silent except to where a tower picked up it's last signal at 6am at the PTL site but, from what i am reading in other threads calls were going back and forth with HE and SM until 6am. she would have had to be murdered after 6am

please correct me if im wrong. thanks in advance

Just watched the basketball awareness video. Mindblown. I no longer trust myself.

Me either! After I watched it for the first time I had to replay it from the beginning because I thought they had to be playing some type of mind trick on me.

Since it has now come out that the M's have gotten money from lawsuits, this may have just been another way to sue someone. He was being harrassed by motions put forth by TE, they would say. He even had to go to the hospital for stress. It's just my opinion but it seems to follow their M.O.

do we have links to show who and what they got in the lawsuits?

Imo I think it was tm trying to mimic the relationship sm h.e. had. She was trying to keep her husband. After they got back from their trip they let the kids go to dad's and had a date night. Rekindle the intimacy and get closer. If they went to dinner/drinks they could've messed around after dinner and again after they went for drinks right before heading back home. I think h.e. knew sm was back in town. Imo when she used her phone to send her dad the stick shift pick it was TOoo tempting not to send it to sm also. I think smtm's I.e. was caught by surveillance at businesses or the like. They had location so down pat and I'm sure every camera in town has been looked at by the task force specialist they have on deck. I imagine this person in a dark room with a bag of popcorn saying "there they go again"

IDK ...........IE.... sure wish we knew exactly what the M's did to get that charge.

In my state, in my city you can get an IE charge if you get caught pee-ing outside... at a campground ....at night... when no one is around.

He was having chest pains, maybe he thought he was having a heart attack.
