If they have it back does it mean no evidence was found in it? I've wondered this. Or would they collect evidence and then return it? I have no idea how this works.
This is daddy C's truck from everything I've read.

Me too. And I wondered why they took that vehicle since it did not belong to the M's. Then, I guess they have followed them or have known their whereabouts for some time, they were aware they drove that red truck sometimes and it could contain evidence.

I find it interesting that, after an hour, she had reason to believe that she could reach SM at that pay phone. That, combined with the short tearful call to her friend, makes me suspect that she was waiting for SM to call her back.

In other words, after the first call, SM may have said that he was going back to the house for a few things ...I will call you back and you can pick me up. She made that quick distressed call to her friend...then waited to hear from him again. After an hour, she tries the phone booth. Increasingly worried, she takes the risk to repeatedly call his cell. Finally he answers. And she leaves for the Landing.

IMO There are only two reasons to call that phone booth an hour later in the middle of the night: one, if they had used it as a point of contact with each other since TM took his phone...or if he told her to wait for another call. After an hour, she is nervous and tries to call him.

Whatever he told her, in addition to leaving his wife, etc....had some kind of urgency about it that caused a fearful Heather to take the risk to call his cell. That is interesting too.

One question for those of you who have read Heather's social media postings from that night (I have not)...if SM and TM had had a huge blowup that night...and TM was already "stalking" Heather online....after SM left the house, wouldn't it be likely that TM went on Heathers Tumblr etc to see what she could find? Would Heathers postings, even if they were posted BEFORE she knew SM had left...have added to TM's rage?

I am not asking for details if not allowed on this thread...just opinions on how TM might have reacted to them. Please delete, Mods, if question is inappropriate.

Maybe the 4+ minute call to Sidney's cell at 3:17am was actually answered by Sidney when he thought Tammy was asleep. Maybe Tammy heard everything Sidney was saying to Heather and freaked out, then snatched the phone from Sidney which would explain why no more of Heather's calls were answered. Maybe Tammy cuffed Sidney up and rolled with the truck packing a gun & headed to PTL. Maybe Tammy pulled in next to Heather and pointed the gun at her, said hand over her $h!+ which included keys, purse & cell, then tied Heather once she was forced inside of the truck. Maybe Tammy removed the battery to the cell. She could have then strangled her - which could take less than a minute. She may have even taken Sidney's cell and left her own at home, afterall she may have driven his truck to PTL - all for the sake of making it look like Sidney's the culprit. She then takes to the net posting under both of their accounts, which is as transparent as glass. The very first post she made I remember saying she was forming an alibi and pointing out Sidney at the same time. I still think they're both involved but what if? Is it plausible? And where was Heather taken after PTL?

What time was the $5000 withdrawn on the 18th and what ATM was used?

I have not seen any specifics on the withdrawal other than what was given at the Bond hearing.

Basically we know they withdrew 5000 from an ATM. Could have been several withdrawals etc.

The banks that I looked up all had a maximum daily withdrawal of about 1000 but someone had mentioned they could have had more than one account therefore they were able to withdraw from each.

WAS it on the 18th? I missed that...thought I had read that it was after the crime, but not an actual date.

Heather & her date went out for Mexican on the 17th. I've wondered if Tammy & Sidney maybe crossed their paths that night, setting Tammy in a tirade. Maybe if they did see them, I wonder if it made Sidney realize what he was missing and helped him form the decision to leave Tammy.

Omgosh I read 18th. I'll have to look so pls give me a few minutes. Maybe I'm mistaken. The biggest thing I'm curious about regarding that $5000 is the vicinity of the ATM. I'd like to know if there's a hardware store in its near proximity. If a murder was spur of the moment and done on emotion, then chances are somebody wasn't thinking and wanted to get what was needed for disposal & concealment rather quickly.

That's what makes me think the $10,000 in the safe might not have been there prior to the $5,000 withdrawal. If so, wouldn't they have used that instead? I honestly want to know if the $5,000 could have been used for a payoff or down payment to somebody for help.

I'd like to know the date n time of that withdrawal too...

Strangulation takes a lot of effort and a few minutes.

I think they just said the $5000 was withdrawn the day after Heather went missing.
I think it had to have happened inside the bank not at an ATM.

Agree disposed doesn't mean dropped but it does mean received a final disposition.

I believe the "Disposed" is referring to the bond on the IE and OOJ charges and not to the adjudication or verdict. Her father posted bond for her on these. It was after that she was charged with kidnap and murder. There was no bond on those and she was never released. The IE & OOJ charges are still active.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much TedMac! Makes so much more sense now!

I think so too but the media said this:

"Last month, Tammy Moorer posted bond on the $10,000 obstructing justice charge, but remained in jail.

No bail was set for the kidnapping charges.

Tammy Moorer, is also charged with one count of obstruction of justice, Originally she also faced two counts of indecent exposure, but according to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center, those charges have been disposed."

The media acknowledges the bond posted for ooj but does not say that charge is disposed of. While they do say the IE charges were disposed. Confusing.

They didn't state a time during the bond hearing.

Also, I'm assuming they would have had to go inside the bank to withdraw that amount, right?

I think it had to have happened inside the bank not at an ATM.

That's not what hoppy said. Hoppy specifically said they said in court t was a 5k ATM withdrawal. Hoppy was there in the courtroom and took notes. Some stuff was reported on in the media but some stuff hasn't made it to airwaves yet.

So we are looking at a withdrawal instead of an ATM withdrawal? That would make more sense to me, that they went into the bank and withdrew the 5000.

I was having a hard time figuring out how an ATM would dispense that much cash!

ETA: I see Jersey Girl commented regarding what Hoppy had said from being at the hearing in person.

Strangulation takes a lot of effort and a few minutes.

Heather weighed under a 100 lbs and TM is 235 lbs, I think I read that on the arrest warrant. Then factor in the amount of rage that TM had against Heather, I don't think it would take too much effort.

That's what I wonder as well. Hoppy & I both suggested maybe there was more than 1 account and/or more than 1 card. The limit for withdrawal is per card, not per account, so either way taking 5g out is feasible.

Am I allowed to post the rock pic that was on SM's FB page on Dec. 23? I think this is a clue as to where she is. After some google research I found the image someone had saved. Thanks!!
