this may be morbid but as you search, please watch for birds of prey circling. When we see this on the farm we try to go out, usually a dead deer. Worth watching the sky for.

I wonder if He was on any dating sites.

Are their no local investagator reporters in MB??? like the main TV channel?
Does the newspaper put in articles and pix of the search? 2 weeks and not a clue.

Nope.

I wondered about dating sites or even someone that may of wanted to get these girls in a sex ring (questioning the bruses, being beautiful and young) Was there a BULLY? No one talking from the TKilt????

Crying now, just read Heather's dad writing about his day..........:( on the findheather FB

Me too. I can't stand to see my brother hurting. I couldn't even comment on his writing ~ so, I put a sad face.

Maybe they called her from a prepaid phone.

LadyHawkke I hope LE check the older guy making comments on where to look out. He may be a nut or might have seen something. On the FindHE FB.

HE said on her social media that she had fallen at work.
We saw her picture that looked like bruises.
How can we find out if their was missed work, hospital? report? etc.
Is this all under hippa law?

Why did she want to quit TKilt and when was she going to work at a salon?
More $? Was she going to go to beauty school?
How much would she make at TKILT? I bet tips were very good.
Is TK more of a younger crowd?

BBM-You are right, it is covered under HIPAA. Here is a link if it helps. http://www.hhs.gov/ocr/privacy/hipaa/understanding/consumers/employers.html Unless of course a coworker or relative were to say something about what they knew. Not much against them knowing she fell or was out, etc.

The channel I watch all the time that seems to be covering it as thoroughly as they can given lack of LE pressers is wmbfnews.com. It actually looks like they've assigned a team of at least 3 Investigative Reporters to cover the aspects of the case, from updates on Heather, to the search, to the remains, to tips to stay safe.

I don't get the newspaper, so no idea. I pretty much get my news online or through the WMBF app on my phone (it sends me breaking alerts). However here is a link to the newspaper's website: http://www.myrtlebeachonline.com/ I see a couple articles and a photo. Not much new info though it does definitively confirm that an officer on patrol saw Heather's car.

Won't be able to find out about any sort of medical records, it's ALL covered under HIPPA (I used to work in medical so I have HIPPA training and know that factually.) and anyone who gives out records other than the cops is either gonna end up in big doo-doo, or lying. As for missed work - that'd be up to TK to release.

Honestly not sure she was for sure quitting TK, or quitting HOB. But going to work for the Salon is her dream. She wanted to be a makeup artist, so that was her dream job.

I bet she made major money, especially in tourist season. The place I work now has a lot of clients that are in the service industry. (MENTAL NOTE: Service Industry nights out? I've heard of them, discounts for local servers, was there one around that time???) and when they paid sometimes upwards of $500 it'd be in cash, and it'd be from like.. 1 day's shift.

TK is a wide variety. It's a sports bar, like a Hooters or a Buffalo Wild Wings, or Wild Wing Cafe. Could be any range of ages at any given time.

Unfortunately they are extremely abundant here. I see them often circling 2-3. Still worth watching for, but for an example, when I returned home from visiting the site there were approximately 10 of them circling their way over my community to the neighboring one. (I assume hunting.)

Oh and an update on my status as being verified. I got back an email that WS no longer verifies locals because it gets too much and too confusing. But they were gonna let Ima know that if they still did verify locals, they would have verified me? Did that happen?

Exactly. A co-worker could come say "Yeah Heather fell. There was a french fry on the stairs and she hit the banister. She called me to take her shift the next day because of the meds the doctor gave her." (THAT IS AN EXAMPLE) But they couldn't say "Yeah Heather fell and went to the doctor's care, and my sister was her nurse and she said that she hit so hard she might have cracked a rib and they gave her cyclobenzarine for her muscle soreness." (again, example.) because that would get the nurse in SO MUCH HOT WATER.

Just throwing this out there since the latest references to AB and the location where she was found...

Last week when I went to PTL, I wanted to check out an area that I thought was interesting from studying maps online. It's the new SC31 extension that is currently under construction. It connects right up to Peachtree Road and it really stood out to me as an exit point from PTL that may be overlooked. Not even sure if it has been searched yet?

So, I climbed up the access road to the right and walked a good quarter mile or so. I took a few pictures and looked around intently. The area atop of the "hill" had a very chilling and auspicious feel. Very quiet and serene. Although there are many houses below on either side, it is virtually impossible to see a person below while walking along the path and vice versa.

One could easily walk the distance of this path unbeknownst by anyone below until it hooks up to 544. Not sure about driving a vehicle although there appears to be a lot of tire tracks on the map (possibly from construction vehicles or ATVs).

In virtually every missing person case where foul play is involved, there is a spiritual side of the equation, imo. The victims will speak too, and guide those who will listen..
Many of the pioneers of the FBI Behavioral Science Unit; Roger Depue, John Douglas, and Robert Ressler, have all written about this contrasting spiritual element; good & evil..
Trust your instincts PeterThomasFan, and share this tip with HCPD.. can't hurt..

What kind of workers/people would be out at 3 am down there.

Exactly. I could see a family member saying something before a coworker honestly. I also used to work in healthcare so had to deal extensively with this Hipaa stuff.

Please be more specific. By down there do you mean Peach Tree Landing? Socastee area? Myrtle Beach area/Grand Strand in general?

This really just gave me the chills.

Or the roommate. Since Heather wasn't living with her family, though not sure at the time of the accident.

I respectfully disagree. The perp could have taken Waccamaw to forest brook which ends extremely close to peachtree rd. I don't see forestbrook as being a high traffic area at that time of the day. Also, I mapped out the distance from tidewater to peachtree landing after someone mentioned that in some cases a perp dumps a car almost exactly 10-20 miles in the opposite direction. Peachtree landing is almost a straight shot 8 miles south if you took forestbrook & 10 exactly if you took 31. And I don't see 31 being high visibility at that time of day either... not to mention the driver would probably go unnoticed anyway unless they drove by someone who knew that was HE's car & she wasn't the one driving.

I have no problem with you disagreeing.

First off:

If the perp comes out at Peachtree and goes left they have to drive by a convenience store that's open 24 hrs and has security cameras.

If the perp comes out at Peachtree and goes right, they would have to go by another convenience store with security cameras, plus a busy intersection with a Dunkin Donuts (with security cameras).

But the main reason I posted this is because I live in that area, and have been all over Forestbrook, Peachtree, Socastee, and Waccamaw for the last 25 years.

Forestbrook is an extremely busy route, especially when you consider the small bars open late over off 707, and the lack of roadblock history on Forestbrook Rd....lots of traffic heading the "back way" into MB from bar-goers late at night.

And that's not even getting into the Hunters Ridge development that has over 1500 homes in it. There is significant traffic over that way, no matter what time of day or night it is.

31 dumps off near 501, which is busy 24/7. You have several Bingo parlors over there open all hours of the night on certain nights.

The only desolate area would be 31 dumping off onto 544. That area is fairly desolate pretty much all the time.
