If we set aside the presumption that HE went missing immediately after using her phone for the last time that night, assume she did in fact go to sleep they night at her apartment, and went missing sometime the next day when she woke up, what kind of theories might we have?

Was HE the type to sleep in late?

Did HE have a morning routine?

Was there a corner store that HE frequented?

Looks like she's saying (to my untrained eyes) "I dont wanna' play in the rain".

Play with who?

Who is this message to?

....perhaps to no one...?

Maybe the VW is of no significance, and it is just parked there as a backdrop to show the rain coming down?

BBM: Re...her vine. Interesting, because her second to last twitter message is "Dancing in the Rain" with a pic attached, seems pic is a screen shot of her phone? And that was sent from a DH...who I believe, after googling, is or was at some point the manager at TK...she also put #Perfection with the post.

A transcript of the Nancy Grace show of Jan 6th. Note, it has a disclaimer that it is a draft transcript.

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1401/06/ng.01.html

- Newspaper writer quoting from the police report states that HE's car is at her condo between 2:00 and 2:30 AM on the 18th.

- Same writer states that the report makes mention of video surveillance at a business that has a 'drive thru'. Beyond that he states the details - what business, where it is - is redacted from the report the writer obtained.

- Then there is this btw NG and the father, Terry Elvis:

GRACE: Let me ask you this. Have police confided to you about when her cell phone was last used?

TERRY ELVIS: We know that the cell phone was last used 3:41 Wednesday morning, AM. That`s been confirmed. I found that the first night when I -- her phone is actually on our account, and I pulled up the information, and that was the last known use of the phone.

GRACE: Terry, was that pinged back to her apartment?

TERRY ELVIS: At this time, they won`t really confirm where it was pinged to.

***
Terry Elvis stated that he pulled the info on when the phone was last used. But not exactly how (called the phone company?) he got the info. Terry Elvis also says 'last used' (text? phone call?). It was originally reported that her phone was used 'around 3 AM on the 18th' and it's last ping was sometime after that. Terry Elvis has stated that he last heard from HE at 10:43 PM on the 17th when she sent him a text.

Based the NG transcript I believe it is possible:

***
She was not in her condo at 3:41 AM. (At a convenience store? Getting gas?)

She may have been walking or sitting in her car with the doors unlocked at 3:41 AM texting or talking on her phone and therefore unaware of the situation/area around her.

If the phone last pinged shortly after that last use, someone (singular or plural) may have taken advantage of her focusing on her phone and rushed her while she wasn't paying attention. Phone was turned off shortly after that.
***

Still a lot of gaps. Where did the phone last ping? (LE has that and won't confirm it with parents.) We also don't know the details (where or when) on the video surveillance at a business with a 'drive thru' mentioned in the police report. When was HE's car parked at the landing? Not reported by LE to parents till the 19th.

I still don't believe Peach Tree Landing is anything but a place to stash the car. But that is just my gut feeling.

Trying to tighten the timeline...

How exactly did le find out about Heather's car at the ramp? Was it called in by a fisherman or did le spot it during their rotation?

It's been said Terry put on gloves to drive the car home bc he suspected something amiss. Something didn't seem right.snipped..
Why wait to report her missing, or was that misreported. Was she reported missing on Thurs or Fri? It's been reported both ways.

I saw a post on SM by someone who said they knew of/or were family of the fishermen that called it in. Don't know how accurate/true that is...

For goodness sake. Why didn't someone just say so!
Although, googling doesn't bring the product line up.
Sorry for just posting the photo.. I found this on a google search and saw it and thought it interesting. I found one or two articles in english so it must be available here in the states, and the label is in english...but the majority of websites I found in my quick google search were foreign language sites. I was just putting it out there as another theory. Plus it was late and I was tired, so I posted and went to bed :)

Does anyone know if GMA ran a segment this morning about HE? I tuned in later than planned and haven't seen anything.

The info about the fishermen confuses me bc the media reported the sighting of her car was by an leo driving his beat, noticed it and called Terry - something like that. Something else that threw me off is reading that the leo recognized it as Heather's so he called Terry. I have to wonder how much misreporting is going on. I cant even remember if that came from a local or the media bc the facts have become so blurry now.

Its found in some high end spas and also sold on ebay.

No straight reporting on this one :(
I saw an article that said an LEO saw it on patrol, ran the registration, and called Terry to inquire why it was there.
I'm assuming the car is registered to Terry since he was called after a little research. That part was left out of the article though.

That's exactly why man-overboards never have to be answered to. I think the fed govt has brought some changes to that now. Hoping at least. I now the nes whose main port is Miami have to answer to US maritime laws, or seething like that now. Took a huge push from several families...

This is EXACTLY why I wanna drop kick my freakin iPad. Im so sick of these typos. Its killing me why the stupid touchpad cant keep up with my typing. The only time I don't have mistakes is when I type really really slow.

This has nothing to do with Heather's case, so please forgive me, but if anyone has suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it. Otherwise I'm taking this sucker to Apple, which I like to avoid at all costs - I always come out broke.

The video tribute to Heather posted on the FB page is lovely and heartbreaking. Prayers continuing to the Elvis family.

I have a LARGE problem with all this "go to watch the sunrise" theories that keep coming up. At that time of year we were only like 3 days from the longest night of the year. Sunrise wasn't until after 7am.

...and the sun rises in the east over the Ocean and not the west which is the direction you would be looking at the river from the landing. The sun sets in the west over the river at PTL...

CC880, thank you! The Lt. on the case says the phone's last ping wasn't established by them, but was provided to them. If I'm understanding that means that hadn't yet requested it officially from the carrier before they got it. Since Mr. Elvis doesn't know anything about it, who would have provided it? Is it likely that the carrier contacted the authorities with the info willingly and voluntarily before being asked once it came out she was missing?

I just can't figure out how that piece fits since I would have thought they'd have requested it before even releasing the info she was missing, or at that same time.

This stuck out to me as well during the interview ~ Would love to know more about this as well!

This makes me happy everyone I work with has a gov't security clearance.

The RSO mentioned above was charged when he was 22, right? So was he with a gf whose parents got mad? Or was it something really bad?

To know if it is possible that Heather went missing on Wednesday during the day, not in the wee hours, we would have to know her calling/texting pattern daily, i.e when she got up in the morning. Kind of reminds me of Dylan Redwine...he texted all the time and when he stopped around 8pm on a Sunday (no school next day) it was obvious to me that something happened to him right then.

Also, maybe Heather's aunt can clarify if she was alone in the apartment. On NG, she (NG) made kind of a hash of that, referring to "roommates" and making it sound like some people were there when she returned from date.

I think it would also be good if LE could check if any of the mentioned RSOs had access to a manual drive vehicle. I keep wondering if she got ahold of someone else who had a manual transmission to try and show that she could now drive it.

I taped it and ran quickly through it and nothing caught my eye as being about HE, I was disappointed. Hopefully I just went too fast. Will check it out more closely later.

He was 21. She was 16.
