She seems to have really liked that Moonchild necklace. I wonder if she was wearing it when she disappeared. I don't know why I think that matters, but for some reason I do. I'll figure it out later....
It was a bright full moon that night...

There is more information in this article from hln than the 2 minutes she aired nothing new about heather! At least the article quotes the roommate and mentions tilted kilt!

From this link:

"Heather’s roommate, who was out of state at the time, says she talked to Heather around 2:00 a.m., after Heather had been dropped off from her date. She says as far as she knows, Heather was safe at home and alone in the apartment.

“She was looking forward to seeing him again,” the roommate said."

Also,

"According to Horry County Police Department Lieutenant Robert Kegler, the man who took Heather on the date is not suspected of involvement in her disappearance.

“He’s been interviewed and is not listed as a suspect or person of interest at this time,” Kegler said."

“It was locked, parked parallel to the edge instead of straight on,” Terry Elvis said.

“I kept calling her phone, it went straight to voice mail.”

“A lot of the tips that were coming in tonight and today, they were very, very helpful,” Terry Elvis said Tuesday. “We are still looking for more puzzle pieces and looking for more people to come in.”

Anyone with information about Heather’s whereabouts can call Horry County Police at 843-915-TIPS or send e-mail to [email protected].

Maybe someone knows when the car first appeared where it was found, or rather narrowed it down by when it was not there. Maybe that is the sort of tips they are getting. I can't imagine how the NG show was helpful in any other way

I saw the comment from early this morning asking about package stores. Those are liquor stores from those of you not in the northeast. I've only seen drive thru ones in Texas.

All actual liquor stores have to close by 7pm in SC, it is state law. You can buy beer/wine 24/7 in gas stations/wal mart etc, but not actual liquor.

Speaking from past experience, getting nothing but your daughters voicemail can strike terror in a parents heart. I only had to endure this hell for ten hours before I located my adult daughter, but I will never ever forget the impact. To think the Elvis family are going through this day after day for weeks on end is unspeakable. Please -- whoever knows anything, even the smallest anything, give this info to them and show some compassion.

BBM: Which is why they are keeping a lid on any information about him, IMO. We ran into this when my friend was murdered umty-doodle years ago. Her boyfriend had just left her at her condo right before she was murdered. (Conjecture has it that she thought it was him coming back when she answered the door and let the perp in). Since he was cleared for the timeframe she had to have been killed in(he had gone to a bar to meet friends), they kept everything about him out of the paper.

ETA: This also explains why they knew that her car was at her condo, because the date would have seen it.

I hope whatever surveillance video that captured Heathers car can show who was driving, hoping the image(s) can be enhanced.

A photo of Heather's car is now posted on FHE, they're saying not sure about the color. Huh?

I've been following from the beginning. <Mod Snip>. The facts as I have them are

1. Goes on a date
2. Text pictures while on the date to her dad about driving the dates stick shift at roughly 10:43pm.
3. NG states the date was at a Mexican rest.
4. Date delivers HE back to River Oaks between 10:43pm & 2:00am.
5. Date confirms 2001 Dodge Intrepid was at apartment
6. Roughly 2:00am, HE & BW (roomy) speak about the date.
7. Approximately 3:41am the last known phone ping is sent out (location unknown to public).
8. Car is found at PTL, later told it was parked parallel to the water, locked & with no contents such as purse, HE or phone.
9. HE sister on fb post at 9:31am on 12-20 sister is missing.

Information I can't determine:

1. When did the family actually start looking for HE? Surely the 3:41am ping is not from them. But they know phone went dead/turned off. --- see updated #9 above

2. When exactly was the car found?

3. From the 10:43pm text about stick shift driving to her dad until the 2:00am phone call to BW about the date, any factual time the date dropped her off?

4. Has date admitted to going into the apartment? (The reason I ask this is if the date was the last "known" person in the apartment, was the date taken back to the apartment to confirm it was "as reasonably close to the same condition" as they last saw it? (Struggle)

MY OWN THOUGHT---

Unless I am missing something, there is not a lot of SM activity on her pages from Dec 13 thru the time missing. I realize we all get busy from time to time, but it looks like a strong drop in activity leading up to her disappearance based on previous months.

Thoughts:

--had she been working more?
--what/who was occupying her time away from SM

Really enjoy the site.

People on the page are so focused on getting national media...what they need to do is get local, media and LE talking, IMO, at least to clarify timeline, where she was the evening prior, etc. Where did the Mexican restaurant come from? Just from Ng or elsewhere? Why not name it? Maybe people will remember seeing her, or a car following her date. It is more important, IMO, to get locals thinking and looking. I don't think a random stranger or passing serial predator would have parked her car, much less where it was found. More likely it would have been abandoned at side of the road, IMO. I think it was parked by someone who knew she was familiar with the place, assuming she did not go there on her own.

If she WAs abducted, I feel like it was a local who knew her pretty well. IMO more local-level coverage and info is needed, not Greta S., Nancy, etc...

Found in a rural area only locals know, is what they claim...no condition or verification.
