Ive read on various cases on here and in articles linked to dog tracking that the rain can bring out scents that can be weeks or even months old.
I found this amazing at first, but then on reflection it kinda made sense.
Too much sun can bake the scent into the dirt, only for the rain to come along and release all those scents for the doggies....

I've even seen some spouses having their own business page and their own personal page, whilst the other spouse is happy to make all the posts on the 'couples' account, but never feel the need to have their own personal page.
Often says a lot of the dynamics of the relationship.

they usually gossip on their personal page.LOL especially when news that is a "shocker" comes along:seeya:

I'm quoting myself here because I'm a bit confused on the reasoning behind us not discussing an official document pertaining to this case. I understand that all redacted material would be off the board but to ignore it is ,imo, counterproductive to the whole purpose of why we're here (at least why I'm here).

Confused as well - reason has something to do with rules enforced by the owner/s of this site.

http://www.rcfp.org/rcfp/orders/docs/POLICE.pdf

Here's a long article that addresses the laws pertaining to accessing police records. The report begins by addressing the rights of the news media. The report contains a state-by-state guide to laws on the subject including those pertaining to the general public.

REPORTING COMMITTE for the FREEDOM of the PRESS, 2008

...."'Every once in a while you would see some arrest information come out, but I thought that came through the court system because news media have access to court records.'"

"Blumstein said the reason behind the case is the protection of the interest an individual holds in able to obtain employment, and not having an arrest that does not result in a criminal conviction hamper that interest."

The article addresses many points some of which are ~

- One's reputation is not a liberty or property interest protected by the Constitution.
- TN Public Records Act
- The right of the public to know about crime in their neighborhoods.
- The importance of court records to remain open to view convictions as well as innocent rulings.
- The possibility that libel suits can result if reported without verification.

"In most states, fair and accurate reports of the contents of official documents, including police records, are privileged. In those states, a news organization that accurately reports the content of an official police document containing false information cannot be held liable for the inaccuracies."

LAWS AND RULES GOVERN ACCESS

"The open records laws in most states guarantee that police records are open unless some specific exemption would allow officers to deny access to the information."
(lots more on this subject within the article)

STATE-BY-STATE GUIDE

South Carolina ~ "Police reports that disclose the nature, substance and location of any crime or alleged crime reported as having been committed are public." (S.C. Code given in article)

"Active investigation records may be sheltered from disclosure if the public disclosure of the records would interfere with a prospective law enforcement action." (S.C. Code given in article)

The report is twenty-four pages long and needs time and the ability to concentrate in order to digest all the information contained within. I tried to quickly gather some relevant points to contemplate and explore further if anyone is interested in doing so.

Hmm. The maintenance guy... Then fast forward to July 10th. Seems logical to me. Btw. What makes you say "someone she's known for a long time"? Who says how long she knew him.

July 10 seems like it definitely could be the first time she "connected" with a new person.....interesting exactly 14 days later she jokes about being pregnant (the general time from ovulation to being due for your period). I do not think she was pregnant, as it is clear she says she's joking.

What do you make of someone who declares on their SM page they are in a relationship but less than 2 weeks later goes on a first date?

Completely agreed. I believe that to be a joke. However he did work at a maintenance company. So her comments add up. Connecting three days later is very plausible; I've met people and then a couple days later formally introduced myself or became acquainted with.

A lot of things can be made or speculated about. I'm not one to judge; I've been 20, after all. I know at one point I dated quite frequently as I have a free soul.

twitter. you are talking about how long she knew the one she is posting about on July 10? I don't know how long she knew him, I just stated that to me it sounds like someone she doesn't know..as in "i swear that person who builds things is hot' as opposed to ' I swear John doe is hot"..to me it sounds like she doesn't know the person well. If she did she may be use his name. Just because one person does maintenance doesn't mean they are the only one who does maintenance. As for any other friends she may have in the maintenance business twitter tells me how long she has known them and that would be about a year. Maybe she likes maintenance men.

my wife and I have separate FB pages and except for pictures of my daughter, house, vacations(of which neither one of us are in the pictures) you wouldn't know we were married to each other, LOL.

OT... A quote I once read on Pinterest is dead on... "The best sign of a healthy relationship is NO sign of it on Facebook." & ain't that the truth!

When peeps refer to the redacted version of the crime report, are you talking about the blackened out portions of the wording written by police within the body of the report? Has a copy with ALL words visible circulated?

Or, are peeps referring to addresses and phone numbers only?
According to the laws, in seems the personal information isn't protected but sometimes the info is redacted, I believe, as a courtesy. As strange at it seems imo.

An unredacted version circulated briefly.

Someone posted the version w/o the blackened out portions on the FHE page last night. It was up for an hour maybe before they they deleted the thread.

Her FB says she's in a relationship with a female friend, which is fairly common for younger girls/women to pretend to be married to or dating a friend. I don't think she was ACTUALLY "in a relationship" with the person listed on her FB page, it's just a fun thing they like to do.

Facebook Rule:
Facebook accounts are for individual use. This means that we don't allow joint accounts. Additionally, you can only sign up for one Facebook account per email address.

Since each account belongs to one person, we require everyone to use their real name on their account. This way, you always know who you're connecting with.

Wow ok. Proof? Did you know what he did for a living ? I do. And that adds up as I've stated in my posts from her tweets from July 7-10.

Yes I do. If it adds up for you that is good. You don't have to try to convince me. From my interpretation of her twitter (going back at least as far as February) she already had a friend in the maintenance business. Definitely in March.

WOW.

I must be getting old because I had no idea what a "Vine" was. Is it just me or are there too many SM sites to choose from these days.

I just stumbled over a "Vine" and "Tumbled" onto "Facebook" only to find out that someone sent me a "Twitter" which made me "Flick" an "Instagram" over to "Photobucket" and then I saw myself on "Youtube".

All this made me drink a "Pint" and then I fell on the floor "Googling" in "Myspace". :floorlaugh:

So somebody broke the rules...

It's not really breaking the rules to share a FB account. There is still only 1 account/1 password, an end user can't change that. The worst a person can do is have multiple accounts by having multiple email addresses.

I was surprised when I signed up for WS, I couldn't use my yahoo email, LOL! Was irked, to be honest! But, lo and behold, that is apparently so that what happens with FB, doesn't happen here on WS (multiple, fake accounts).

Hope that makes sense :-).
