I hope that at some point in time, the perp confesses. Would hate to see a defense attorney dragging her social media into court, to try to make her look bad. They always seem to give it a go.

I was wondering where everyone was. It's too quiet in here. It's almost like the quiet before the storm.

Has it been determined how TE knew who Heather's date was on Tuesday night?
I know Heather sent the learning to drive a stick picture to him, but how did he know who she was with and whose truck she was in?

The thought crossed my mind that HE may have said she was with someone else because of the circumstances/complications. I've not thought this through so don't pounce on me - just seeing if it triggers any thoughts.

At twenty, I can't remember a time that my dad would have known who I was going on a date with without researching the matter through friends or maybe, just maybe, if I had told my mother.

Also, I've wondered, if it is a purse on the truck's dash, if Heather could have left her purse in the truck when she was dropped off at her apartment. That could be why TE said her purse was missing when later it was found left behind in her date's truck. Just a coincidence.

Something isn't connecting though imo.

I don't post often... I began posting on a local case and I come here now when I hear of a case that gains my attention. So perhaps this will sound abrupt given my lack of activity on Heather's threads. But I have been reading and I've read other material from various sources, some of which I take with a grain of salt, and others, which as the problematic timeline suggests, just don't make sense. But, in the midst of all that, there are elements of Heather's disappearance, including the car location, and her obvious absence for this long, that equal essentially only one outcome.

Just my personal opinion, but I think the police know a lot more than they're talking about and the matter of who is likely answered, and it's now a matter of how, and where she ended up.

I just want to add that in regard to her social media, I've tried not to read too much into what she posted. I'm on Twitter myself and see many a Twitter feed, and I've observed that there is simply not information in any tweet or even a string of them to tell a whole story about anyone.

I think this case is perhaps complicated. The car just really bothers me. But I also think the case feels additionally complicated to those of us wanting more information because the police don't have a media presence, this poor girl vanished into seeming thin air after having had sustained contact with several people, and she was allegedly last seen so close in time to when she apparently encountered trouble. Now it seems like the case is not moving.

But I think it is, and perhaps it will seem obvious when the case concludes, or perhaps there will be a conclusion no one saw coming. I can't say and won't presume. But I think the ending will be a most tragic one.

Here is the first map I have. It's been a joy since our internet is messed up and has been for 2 days. Other maps will follow. When all are done, I will put them together in the Media thread, so if you want me to add something, or fix something, please let me know.

Sadly, I agree with you and it breaks my heart.

In this particular article, it is interesting they note these times to look out for:

http://www.missingpersonsofamerica.com/2013/12/heather-elvis-young-woman-missing-from.html

"The family is asking for anyone who was at Peachtree landing from 10pm Tuesday December 17th thru 6am Wednesday morning December 18th to please contact us, you may have seen something and not even know it and we could use the help in filling in holes for this time line."

It is interesting, considering HE was allegedly still on her date at 10pm on Tuesday December 17th.
As an aside as I'm trying to get the #$%^ maps to load, I have to guess that they used those times to encapsulate everything from the pictures she sent of her driving the stick (the last known picture of her alive) to whatever time her cell phone might have pinged last. (possibly allowing around hour or so on either side). The wording is important when you read what is written. The news reports say her last known CONTACT with anyone was around 3:00am. Not that it was the last ping from the phone, but the last known contact she had with anyone. So the phone MIGHT have pinged after that time. It's like her last known location is at home, but that doesn't mean that is the last place she was at.

I wonder if anyone has taken a lie detector even though I realize they're not admissible in a court of law.

A lot of times there's an issue with the Thanks button, it's like we press it so much it stops working :) Maybe you have to refresh the page, and try again.

could that be interpeted as the last person to of contacted her , started contacting her at 3 a.m. ?

Yes, it's working! Great Big Map!!! :) :)
Hoo Hah! I will be making screen shots of various locations in Google Earth, so everyone can see the terrain. That area that I was looking at before, Carvel ct, has a dirt road that runs from it Northish around the lake there. I am curious to see where that dirt road goes.
