its still way over 24 hrs between last cell phone activity (conversation text ping or whatever) and the father being notified of the car....thats the point.
The police report says the call came in at 10:43 p.m. So 11:00ish is more like it.

I'm a little confused by the timeline . It says Thurs 19th LE was informed about the car at PTL at 11:10pm yet ,I reading here TE was informed at 7pm...what's right?

I would go by the police report because they are required to log the time in. Time is very important.
But, that's just me. It seems there is some confusion over the times.

Where did that 7pm time come from?I would go by the police report because they are required to log the time in. Time is very important.

If you look at the police report, the 11:10 p.m. time is when the report was entered by the officer. This would not be the time the vehicle was actually found, correct?
That's been my understanding that the car was located by LE on the 19th and TE was notified by LE shortly before dark and went over to PTL (with LE?) to view the car. TE began calling Heather and by 7:00 p.m. was frantic (because the calls went straight to vm). So, how would this info make sense if he wasn't notified about the car until 11 pmish?
(I also remember reading an early version where TE and DE went to the car together and TE drove the car home. Not sure when the version of LE physically knocking on TE's door came into the story)
I got sidetracked when I was trying to find a link earlier. I've never read or heard the 11:10 p.m. time before.
I know you are trying to keep things on the straight and narrow. But, BB just posted something that needs tobe seen. Puzzle coming together and there is a search this weekend. Trying to keep it paraprased. I can't post a link. Check it out.
It was entered 12/19/2013 at 11:10 p.m. But the "occurred date" is entered as 12/17/2013 at 10:43 p.m. Now that would be the date/time the picture was texted to her dad. That doesn't make sense?

I had a 20 year old staying in my house for 6 months (friend of our family). Doing anything and everything for several hours was not unusual at 2-3 am. (Texting, posting, calling, youtubing....) Heck, I joined her watching lousy TV many a time. She did, however, have to return to the house by 1:00am, leave the location she was visiting on the white board, and leave the phone number of the person she was with. House rules. The last phone ping/communication was reported as 3:41 a.m. (as far as we know). So was she talking to her roommate all that time. An hour to an hour and 1/2? Doesn't that seem like a long time for so early in the morning?
Bing, bing, bing! You might have just won a prize.[modsnip]... I have tmobile and on my online phone records, the text history is PST, 3 hrs earlier. I am sure that by now TE and LE are aware of this discrepancy and so I think the initial reference to 3am is actually 6am, if that makes sense?

LE may have told TE not to talk to the date. And if the date has been cleared, TE might not want to talk to the date just yet. It may be too difficult for both of them. JMO.I would need to talk to the date, if I was a parent...he is the last known person to see her. Was she fine all night? Did her mood change at all? Did she answer any calls or texts? Did she say anything at all that might be useful? I just really would have to meet, face to face ASAP. Cannot imagine after a month, not having met him.
That makes sense to me. 10:43 is the last confirmed picture of Heather alive. At the time the report had been written, the date probably had not been cleared, so the "missing" time would be right after the last time she could be confirmed to be alive and well.It was entered 12/19/2013 at 11:10 p.m. But the "occurred date" is entered as 12/17/2013 at 10:43 p.m. Now that would be the date/time the picture was texted to her dad.
