I don't really understand the whole dog and her car thing. Her scent HAD to be in the car, it's her car and she drives it daily. Is the issue that her scent is not tracked OUTSIDE of the car? If someone pulled up next to her, she jumped in the vehicle, and they took off, there wouldn't really be anywhere to track her scent to...especially if they pulled up next to her driver side door.

I don't think the car was dumped, I think she left it there willingly to go with someone she thought she could trust.

The k-9 issue isn't clear to me either.

Looking for clarification on the 3:41 call or text.
I read that HE called her roommate around 2ish. And I remember reading in a very early report that when dad pulled the phone records he didn't recognize a number that showed up on the records and that number was a call or text around 3ish and AFTER the call to the roommate. The roommate was able to shed some light on who that number belonged to.

I believe this info was found in an article that HE's mom was quoted in more than once (there's only been one of these) I think.
So I don't know how long she spoke to roommate but I do not think she was still talking to her at 3:41am and I do not think this call/text was to or from her as has been attributed. I need to go find the article that supports this.

Yes, there did have to be a scent of her in the car. And if it was a person she trusted and left willingly to go see, THEIR scent and DNA could be explained away. They can say that they were in the car at an earlier time with her and with her permission. Sad but true.

The only reason I personally would park a car like that was if I was pulling in behind someone.
was the vehicle facing the water or facing the entrance to the landing?

There was a assault on Dick Pond Rd/544 on 12/18/13 at 159pm. But here is a list of crime in Horry County. IDK area maybe a local can look through this list.

This is 12/18/13

This is 12/19/13

So...there was a reported assault (see above).

Then, someone with the exact same name as HE was seen at the ER. Not "our" Heather, though, reportedly...

Then, everything happened & Heather disappeared.

It was a busy day in Horry County, apparently.

*****Just saying, and NOT insinuating that the above are or aren't related to HE.***** JMO IMHO MOO etc.

It was. And the info that the poster said they saw here was incorrect. Or at least I have never seen anything like it on here.

I do the logistics of her condo setting. In my opinion, unless you are making a lot of noise it would probably not be noticed. No she would not be highly visable to the parking lot or another unit because the doors are set back with a landing in front.

Thank you so much for that info. I do think it's possible that Heather never drove her car at all after she last parked it before her date. And I think a lot can happen right under the noses of neighbors that goes unnoticed or has no apparent relevance until a context emerges later.

In the Others section it is in the replies under the screen shot

OT: My guess is it was named after someone, a Richard Pond perhaps or someone named Richard.

Back on topic: I agree with other posters who suggest the location of the car may have been staged.

maybe that's where cops(dicks being an old slang term for police) used to hang out

It could have possibly been on here on another thread and/or since deleted.

OK, I don't look at the SM in this case - or any other case, for that matter - because of rumor or things that can be taken out of context.

So at the risk of going over the line, I did see a post on the FHEFB that appears to be by one of those administering it. (Initials 'BB') He stated that 2 more parts of the puzzle were submitted last night. Tips?

So the tip line and reward might be working.

If this is out of bounds, I apologize, but I thought the source was credible.

I found it, sorry! $_(#!&! Facebook & phone, makes it hard!

I went to see my daughter & bebegrande this morning. she looks so similar to heather, I'm sure she wondered why I gave her an extra long hug when I left. I didn't want to let go. :(

I don't know if it was posted on here and deleted or on another thread, but I had already thought the same thing!

Yes, something like that was on here and was deleted by the mods. I remember well bc I was one of the posts talking about it.

That info was posted here (not by me) and it is correct.

Edit: deleted link, probably not allowed.

Speaking of the FHEFB page it now has over 38,000 followers! Heather will be found, I have no doubt about that!
