What areas would you search if you headed up the team? For instance, I would like a search of the quarry with pond off of Peachtree Road. And maybe go in off some dead end roads that border forest area to the west.

Good morning!

Many of us have seen both copies of the police report. Let's pretend we haven't. Where would be looking? Who would we be looking at? What if time and energy is being spent in the wrong place?

I would look in all directions. EVERYONE would be suspect until cleared.

I'd look at last known locations, communications and altercations.

Not knowing anything on the police report I'd also look at changes in her life prior to her disappearance.

I'd have questions such as: didn't she moved just prior to her disappearance? Why did she move? Where did she live previously? Was she forced to move, was she begged to stay, if so on either...why? Could her move have anything to do with her disappearance?

I don't remember seeing this here yet. Nothing really new but the local media did cover SM & FHE. I didn't see a date but based on the # of like on FHE FB, I'd guess this story is from late last week. They now have over 40,000 likes!

But we have seen it. And what it showed matched my theory from before we did. So not sure how to go back in time to "before" especially when LE is not talking. Their prolonged silence makes me think they have POI's. JMO

Well... What we are here for is to try and help find Heather, not a suspect or person of interest. We can discuss the PR that is out now, although no names, we do have what the police wrote up on the first page. We have Heather's SM sites, what TE has wrote in the paper, interviews.

The rules are pretty much the same as with any other case. We don't allow sleuthing and posting here of anyone until a suspect is named. Very rarely have we not done this. HE is sleuthable since she is the victim here.

How about we go back and read old news, interviews etc to see if we can find something.

Maybe one of our great SAR's can come in and give us some help? I'll ask.

On NG, Heather's mother said she did not know if the complex had any security, which I found a little surprising. Only because my mother would have known, lol.

This completely baffles me. Maybe she didn't know prior to HE's disappearance, but still not knowing afterward? I would think this would be a top question of parents??? Am I wrong???

The police report can be discussed, but NO NAMES, NO REDACTED INFORMATION, NO PERSONAL INFORMATION.

No talking about wives, ex's, employment, etc. unless you have a link that is NOT RELATED to the police report.

This is going to require restraint and cooperation on everyone's part. It if becomes too difficult, we will close the discussion.

MSM released the report and they can't take it back now. But that doesn't mean this is a free for all. We need to be respectful of LE's investigation and unnamed POIs/suspect. Given that LE has NOT named ANY POI/Suspect - you may NOT consider anyone mentioned as such.

If you have questions or concerns, pm me or Imamaze or any mod. Don't post it in the threads. And don't post anything you are unsure about. Use restraint and common sense, okay?

Her phone tells the story, IMO. Whatever her phone records show lead directly to what happened to her. I really do not believe she intended to leave the condo again for any reason, if not for calls or texts she may have received. If those records show they came from a sex offender who worked at TK, so be it...he would be my focus. If they show someone else, that person would be the POI.

Now if she had NO phone activity at all, I would assume she went out to take out the trash or something, and was assaulted/abducted, if not for her car being found elsewhere. But the phone would be the main clue for me, and I believe it will, in the end, lead to a POI. Not sure if it will be enough for an arrest, though, unless she is found. Her location may confirm pings, etc. that would be needed to back-up other evidence.

Well, her dad revealed info about the phone log on the show.

Do criminals really underestimate the power of the ping?

That said, an "in the know" or halfway intelligent criminal could certainly use it to their advantage.

I understand being advised not to discuss something, but wouldn't most respond with I can't talk about it rather than I don't know? My point isn't to insinuate she lied as I don't think she did. I'm just wondering why any parent wouldn't know.

The search focus has been in Myrtle Beach. I wonder if it needs to be expanded along I95?
