If my mom or dad didn't hear from me all day at the age I am at, they would be worried and call me...repeatedly. Sad, to some. Now, here is something that has made me confused. For a girl who is this close to her parents that texts them a picture during her date, I would think they would also be the same ones to call and wonder where they are...but it was said they didn't call. I just found that odd.

I kind of did too...no contact from Tuesday night and they do not realize she is missing for close to 48 hours. Makes me think they were used to not speaking to her much on her days off? Or hearing from her?

I'm curious about the lack of concern from this married man since she went missing. If he loved her and wanted to be with her you would think he'd be devastated that she's missing, involved in trying to finding her and wanting to find her to clear any questions.

The timeline still makes no sense and statements by parties who had contact with Heather don't jive. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone, I'm just stating that there are discrepancies that don't go away as time passes.

She was on the phone with her friend crying during a date, but her date says that didn't happen. And then there are the Tumblr posting times. For all this to mesh, she would have had to have been enjoying a date, calling her roommate in tears, and posting melancholy relationship poetry on social media, pretty much at the same time.

Really?

The only thing that seems consistent now with previous info we were not at that time able to discuss, is she had contact with someone after the call to the roommate, and that person is part of her relationship history which appears to have been troubled.

Very odd case based on the available facts.

I think we have all assumed that Heather was still hanging on to the older man..what if Heather had ended the relationship in Nov and it was the older man who continued to call her. Perhaps the relationship was a secret from her family ? Perhaps the older man was threatening and insisted she be with him now that he wanted to walk away from his family ? Perhaps she felt a real " connection with her date , was excited to start her new job and wanted the older man to leave her alone ?

She may have been in a bathroom or stepped away to take a call while on the date. And he may have been off on his times by some minutes. Maybe she even posted to Tumbler while on her date.

You know, I always wondered why LE went to her Dad's house after finding the vehicle. You would think they'd just phone him. I only just realized how close the landing is to her parents house. Much closer than it is to her new apartment.

I talk to my daughter several times a week. If I try to call or text with no answer, yes... I get worried. As she says "call off the dogs" ...

But there are also days that go by without me calling her, she has her own life.
And we are very close.

Agree and possibly HRE felt guilty if he has kids - which would be common for a married man 'almost twice her age'.

is myhorrynews MSM?
I just saw a timeline difference

BS/HINKY meter - you can just block calls these days!

and it doesn't take four hours (minimum) to say, "Leave me alone."

I think TE said he knows most of the local LE, and is friendly with them. They probably just figured it would be easy to drop by the house? Around here, the police tend to "drop by" rather than call. Giving way to minor heart attack at times....

Could she have been upset because maybe the wife got on the phone / was on the phone and threatened her?

  • #639
Has it been ruled out if Heather might have been pregnant?
