A Rock Hill mother and her live-in boyfriend have been charged with homicide by child abuse or neglect after a disabled four-year-old girl was found dead in a dresser drawer, police said.

Jackleen Elizabeth Mullen, 23, and Audrevious Jarrell Williams, 26, were arrested Wednesday morning, said Lt. Michael Chavis of the Rock Hill Police Department.

Mullen was arrested a day after she pleaded guilty in York County criminal court to a forgery charge, court records show.

Damm, what a pair of winners. This little girl didn't have a chance, did she? Why didn't they just drop her at the hospital or some other place which accepts unwanted babies and children.
At least she no longer hurts, hungers, fears, or cries.
She is flying high and always will be.

FYI: SC does have the DP; the last person to be executed was in 2011.

But he reached a deal with prosecutors in which he agreed to plead guilty to one count of aiding and abetting homicide by child abuse and testify against India’s mother, Jackleen Mullen, during her murder trial in exchange for more serious charges being dropped.

Williams got 12 years for his part.
