Five people were killed on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022. One victim was found still alive but died at the hospital. The victims were discovered in separate rooms of a house on Bobo Drive in Inman, SC.

LE released the names of two of the five victims:

Thomas Ellis Anderson, 37 years old

Adam Daniel Morley, 32 years old

All victims had multiple gunshot wounds. All victims are adults who are not related.

I’m following this local but can’t link so I’m glad to see a thread.

I hope the victim that made it to the hospital was able to tell them something.

Where was it? Reminds me of the Rhoden family murders

Third victim named: “Three hours later, Clevenger identified another victim as 59-year-old Mark Allen Hewitt.”

So now we have three adult men named as victims: “County Coroner Rusty Clevenger released the names of Thomas Ellis Anderson, 37, and Adam Daniel Morley, 32, both of Bobo Drive, in Inman.”

Will be interested to learn what the connection was.

Found a couple of police records for a Thomas Wayne Ellis Anderson of 280 Bobo Drive in Inman SC, with an age that matches this victim. Also see other folks come up when the address is Googled, who I’m guessing may include the two as-yet-unnamed victims. Tragic, regardless.

The others have some as well.

I can’t find any other media reports from the address as I just get neck deep in real estate listings.

The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office identified three of the victims Monday evening as 37-year-old Thomas Ellis Anderson, 32-year-old Adam Daniel Morley and 59-year-old Mark Allen Hewitt. The coroner said Anderson and Morley lived at the home, and Hewitt was staying at the home at the time of his death.

I checked the three names they released against local records. Edit; I didn't see anything what I'd call truly horrible.

RIP to all the victims. I hope the perp is caught soon.

I wonder if it was somebody that had been invited in or forced entry into a house with 5 grown men. It could possibly be a gambling robbery as weekend poker games are fairly common.

Was this a boarding house or something? Just seems strange that so many unrelated people would be in one house. MOO

I was thinking similar thoughts, but then I remembered that we don't know the gender of the two unidentified victims yet. We just know that they are adults.

Well, it is more affordable to share rent/mortgage. It is possible that they were all roommates.

Just awful....no matter the situation....

Sounds to me like more than one person was involved in the shooting if grown adults were shot in different rooms. I suspect this will end with multiple shooters.

So, according to this article, LE was called at 7:46 pm on Sunday. Also, it reports a neighbor heard gunshots on Saturday.

This makes me sad. It sounds like at least one of the victims was still alive and suffering during those hours between the gunshots and the call to LE. This really is a horrific situation. It sounds exceptionally violent.

At first I wondered if this was some kind of halfway house, but the address appears to be a 2 bed, 2 bath mobile home. Not exactly conducive to that type of situation, I'd think.

Spartanburg SC. Kohlepp territory.
Excuse my ignorance - what does “Kohlepp territory” mean?

ETA: ah, the wonders of Google! Kohlepp - the serial killer.
