Found Safe SC - Jasmin Long, 19, seen walking with a book bag, didn't come home, Florence, may be in NC, 9 Sept 2022

The City of Florence Police Department is seeking assistance in locating a missing person. Jasmin Long is a 19 year old white female, who stands 5' 02" and weighs approximately 120 lbs. She is missing from the 300 block of Covington. She was wearing a black shirt, gray joggers and Nike shoes with a black book bag. She was last seen around E. Pine St around 5:30 P.M. on Friday, September 9th.

Does Jasmin have family or friends in NC? Why would she go there? How would she get there (not hitchhiking, I hope)? Where in NC?

I think it's within TOS to look at her public social media, right?
If so, most of her publicly viewable friends are from NC.
I would guess she lived in NC at some point. MOO

From Florence to lumberton nc is 55 miles up I95 and is a 53 minute drive.
East pine street runs parallel to hwy 76. It looks to be less than a mile down south Jeffords street where she could have caught a ride going to NC.
That route would have taken her close to fairmount Nc or on up to lumberton. Not to mention all of the small communities through there.
That particular route is 1:25 minutes which is 67 miles.

Pine and Covington is walking distance to the passenger Amtrak behind McLeod.
Based on opinion only, though, she probably got a ride to the beach, then up to the Shallotte area. MOO
