Jasmine Whitimere was last seen by a relative on January 27. Before that, police say Whitemere was last seen walking away from the Horry County Education Center on January 25.

I'm a little confused on the spelling of her name. The Horry County PD spells her name "Jasmine Whitmire," while the news article from WMBF spells her last name 2 different ways, "Whitimere" and "Whitemere" in the extremely short article! I think her name is actually "Whitmire," as I found two FB pages for a Jasmine Whitmire in Spartanburg, SC, which is in Horry County, SC. I'm pretty sure they are both hers, as the pictures are very similar, but since she is a juvenile, I don't want to accidently post an incorrect FB link.

Spartanburg is in Spartanburg County, which is heading up towards the Mountain, Horry County is on the coast- where Myrtle Beach is located. Two completely separate areas.... FYI

Thank you for the correction. I always ask google for what county, so maybe I didn't ask the right question that time! I'm not at all familiar with South Carolina, so I would know if I got an incorrect answer.
