CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying vehicles that were seen traveling in the area shortly before a woman was found injured in the road last week.

Surveillance video captured images of vehicles that traveled Woodland Shores Road on James Island on June 21, sheriff’s office spokesperson Andrew Knapp said. The victim, Jennifer Drummond, was found lying in the road around 5:40 a.m. She was taken to MUSC with serious injuries, officials said.

Knapp said the three vehicles, pictured above, were seen traveling in the area shortly before Drummond was injured.

JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCSC) - Jenn Drummond’s family says that six days after she was found severely injured lying in the middle of a road, she is still unconscious and awaiting continued surgery and care.

Crimestoppers of the Lowcountry and the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday that they are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.

Deputies responded to reports of an injured woman on Woodland Shore Road in the early morning hours of June 21. Laura Cady, a neighbor, was driving through and stopped and called 911 after what she saw.

“I thought it was a trash bag, and then I got closer and thought it was a box and then I got close enough and realized it was Jenn, or a person, it was awful, traumatic,” Cady says.

JAMES ISLAND — It’s been six days since Jenn Drummond was found lying, unresponsive and bleeding, in the roadway just steps from her home.

The 34-year-old remains unconscious in a hospital with fractured vertebrae and skull. Surgeons removed part of her skull and replaced with a titanium plate, according to her family and a ******** page to help pay for her medical bills and recovery.

But the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office and Drummond’s family still do not know what happened, or how Drummond ended up on Woodland Shores Road with blunt force trauma and a puncture wound to the back of her head.
