Horry County police ask for help in search for missing woman

The Horry County Police Department is asking for the community’s help to locate a missing woman.

Jennifer Lynn Rogowski, 26, was last seen on Feb. 4, 2019 in the Conway area.

She is about 5 feet 3 inches tall and 120 pounds.

Rogowski is known to frequent the areas surrounding the 600 block of Highway 501 in Conway and the 1200 block of Highway 501 Business in Conway.

I wonder what exactly they mean by "known to frequent the areas surrounding the 600 block of Highway 501 in Conway and the 1200 block of Highway 501 Business in Conway." That just seems like a strange thing to say, unless a person is a transient or something like that. I took a quick glance at her FB page, and didn't really see anything on her FB page that would lead me to think she was into anything illegal/unsafe.

She looks neat on Facebook. However, the photo used in the article looks like a mugshot to me, and she doesn’t really look healthy. In fact, she has spots on her face. It almost looks like livor mortis.

Drastic difference between her FB pics and the mugshot. I'm not sure of the date of the mugshot, but if recent, it could indicate a decline in health (trying not to speculate about a MP). Also noticed no recent pics of the Male that was previously included in pictures with her (and what I assume is their child).

She was released around 11 AM on the day she's reported missing. Spent a month in jail for receiving stolen goods. Hoping she is safe but concerned she went missing right after being released.

Actually, the majority of time I see LE use that (in Chicago anyway) it's in connection with someone who is homeless, or may be committing a crime (drugs, prostitution, etc) in a specific neighborhood.

Jennifer’s step sister here.

We haven’t talked in a long time but what I’ve found out is that she was released on receiving stolen goods under $2000 on the 4th. Her mother was supposed to pick her up on the 11th (original release date) and bring her to rehab. She had a court date she missed on the 11th. No contact with her bf or mother or any family.

Not sure what drugs she was on. Believe heroin. PD has been given list of contacts and one possible sighting has been reported.

The prostitution thing is exactly what I was thinking. I just hated to have to mention it so early on in her disappearance. But it could be a possibility, sadly...especially if she had a drug habit that she needed to feed.

She was arrested on 05/29/2019 in Horry County and charged with GRAND LARCENY $2,000 TO $10,000
