This is a very interesting story. I read about it on the dailybeast.com today. I wonder why the FBI are not involved? Also, I have not heard anything about the ex-wife and any investigation into her and her location , alibi. etc. We are not being told the whole story.

Seems to me like CD's ex was not always the ex or the stalker. Actually, if you're look at Kala's photos, there are some of the three of them and they look very comfortable with each other. I second Tulips' post about some kind of polyamorous relationship going on.

I agree with you. With any case there always seems to be more confusion than anything but this one, there seems to be more questions than answers.

I just caught up and wow, this is bizarre. It almost seems like a hoax? I wish we had more information. Who are the friends who last saw them? Were they in financial trouble? Etc etc.

People are assuming it's the estranged wife who's hacked Charlie's FB page because of the "hubby" references? They have completely flipped their **** to deliberately incriminate themselves like that. Could be a crazy ex, could be some random psycho with access to the laptop, could be Charlie himself. Of course, we don't know for certain that whoever's posting on the FB page is behind the disappearance, and not just exploiting the situation for their own nefarious purposes.

Could be a crazy ex, could be some random psycho with access to the laptop, could be Charlie himself. Yeah. Other than the "my husband" posts on CD's FB, I agree.

If you're talking about the way the posts appear physically, I believe that is characteristic of one of the Apple interfaces. Not certain, but I have seen many people's text messages and screen shots from their phones appear in that font. If you mean the way they are worded, yeah, they do seem too simplistic for someone who is allegedly a writer.

In an early post, someone said that Kala wished the ex-wife a happy Mother's Day via a FB comment. Can anyone confirm if the ex-wife does have a child, and if so, is the father the missing man, or another unconnected man?

I agree... and about it being the ex, why would she incriminate herself like that? Seems a bit too simple to me... not to say it can't be her, but it really could be *anyone*.

To be honest with you it looks like posts the missing girls ex wrote. If you havent seen his FB, you should go take a look, the writing is pretty similar.

As I was scrolling down through I ran across one particular meme that he posted several months ago and felt like I had been punched in the gut. It was the reaper one about being tired that has been posted to CD'S page since they've been missing. Also, they were all fb friends at one time, with CD and his wife posting on Kala's ex's page. Kala's mom is also apparently good friends with this person as he has been keeping Kala's dog according to the public posts.

Its like a tangled spider Web someone walked face first into.

I don't know what to think anymore.

There is a grammatical error that I find very interesting. Both the FB poster and the person who has been accused the most use the word "are" instead of "our" when writing. eg. "Me and Kala are fine and living are lives." Rumor because the person is not a POI at this point. Of course, it could be somebody trying to frame somebody.

He also shares many of the same photos on his page, for example the Jack photos. However, it could merely be a coincidence, as with Charlie's ex. It seems they all have similar likes. He just seems a bit more violent than everyone else from his FB posts, but that is only my personal feeling.

I dont think he lives near them though?

I dont want to hope for people to be dead at all, (edit: omg I just reread this, stupid tried brain, I dont hope anyone is dead) * so I hope this is a "just ran away"* sort of deal and the person posting on Charlie's page is just being a jerk.
