In reference to the car that was listed on Raleigh's Craigslist:
I have sent messages to the Oxford NC Police department, Anderson County SC Sheriff's department, and to Granville County NC Sheriff's department notifying them of the Craigslist post. David's registration would have the VIN number listed on it. I believe there is more than one place on a vehicle now that has the VIN # listed, is that correct? It is odd that the person who sold the car originally told the current seller he'd have a title in two weeks and that was a month ago from the date of the post which is 10/9/16. A month would place the original sale date around 9/9/16. The earliest news reports I've seen about their disappearance were on 9/6 and 9/7/16 which leads me to think someone decided at that point it'd be a good idea to get rid of the car.

This is a really valuable train of thought. Thank you.

The user deleted it. I sent the info early this morning to law enforcement so hopefully they were able to save the post on their devices before it was deleted.

Can someone see if they have a cached version on their machine and screenshot it?

If not, maybe someone can plug the url into the wayback machine search site and see if it was cached. I'm on my phone or I'd do this one myself.

Was working an hour or two ago... That's interesting to say the least...

Just on the car itself, didn't CDs car (it was CDs car and not KBs right?) have something missing or damaged that made it stand out? I thought one of the missing posters mentioned it

I found it on the wayback machine..yay!!! Not great at computer stuff so not sure how to go about saving it on my desktop. there is an option to print the post. I may do that and scan as a pdf to my computer.

If you are on a PC, use ctrl + prt sc (print screen), then open up Paint or another program (MS Word works too) and paste the image into a new document.

Did anyone save the phone number on the add (it is not view-able with the cached link). It would be interesting to google the number.

It's an Atlanta area code.

It still pops up if I try to search but is it something we're allowed to sleuth?

I think it was something to do with the side mirror having damage to it?

Just so everyone knows there are also 2 cars matchibg the description posted on SC Craigslist as well. Those are from around Oct 15. They are both still up. Since they couldnt legally sell the car in SC though, they probably are not the car, but it would be better to check then not to check.

I also see on KBs FB under her groups that she is a member of a buy and sell group, as well as a sale/rent group. I wonder if anyone has checked any of the groups shes in to see if she'd made any posts before her disappearance.

Checked again, supposedly an LSU decal on the rear window, an LSU vanity plate (which could be easily removed) and damage to the passenger side mirror

I know they can be changed but the wheels are different between CDs car and the Craiglist car and no damage to the passenger side mirror either. No shot of the rear window though. I'd be leaning towards it not being the car

Me too. However they may have changed those things for a reason.
