I can hardly believe this case...it just gets crazier and crazier. I have been following since they went missing.

I wonder how K knew to bang on the storage container? Did she hear people outside? Would she have known they were LE? Or, perhaps LE had a dog and it alerted them to her?

Just curious because that is the moment that led to all of this unfolding. Not only was K able to save herself, she also saved other families from having to wonder any longer what happened to their loved ones. She also prevented TK from being able to do this to any one else in the future.

TK is the type of monster I worry most about...and I am surprised he was arrested without incident. From his Amazon account it did not seem this man was going to go down without a battle. He even had a bullet proof vest on there. So, did LE completely catch him off guard?

In cases like this I wonder how the Jaycee Dugard foundation works, do they reach out to people or do the people have to reach out to them?

It's so hard wanting to help others while sitting behind my computer.

I don't know... but I just hope that perhaps she find some comfort and help from some Foundation/specific counseling that is well suited for her situation and this came to mind ...and I can't get it out of my mind.

I am going to start putting a timeline together tomorrow (busy today), if one hasn't been started already.

So, it looks like his MO is inconsistent, and he just enjoys killing in general. Sigh. The sky seems to be the limit as far as other potential victims go.

I can't help but wonder, based on his clear need for attention, if that was the primary reason for keeping K alive for so long. Someone who needed him. Someone to acknowledge his pitiful existence.

And of course, hes going to represent himself. All that extra screen time come trial. Everyone's looking at Todd.

Rapist, kidnapper, serial killer, spree killer. He doesn't seem to just fit in one box.

There was one theory that the 2003 killings were a hitman settling a prison debt. I guess it's possible that he met somebody in prison and agreed to carry out a murder for an agreed price, but his other crimes seem like there's sexual motivation behind them... the kidnap and rape of the girl who only liked him as a friend, the kidnapping of K, who he may have been attracted to and the murder of her boyfriend. The 2003 killing would fit more in with his style if one of the victims was the boyfriend/husband of a woman he was attracted to, and the others were just in the wrong place at the wrong time and were killed as they could identify him as the killer.

A widow of one of the Super Bike lives in AZ.

Local residents on Fox Carolina's live feed are talking about her.

I recall that she was cleared of any involvement years ago.

Not quite caught up, so someone may have mentioned this. I wonder if TK might be a bank robber as well? He seems to have an awful lot of disposable income, especially for someone who spent time in jail. For example, he has an $80,000 fence around his property. A pilot's license would sure come in handy if you wanted to get around to different areas quickly.

One of the articles I read last night was an interview with a neighbor of his. He mentioned that TK was pretty braggy and talked about all the money he made through day trading.

Just letting this whole thing sink in...it's so crazy. Basically any unsolved murder or missing perso in l the area *could* be him.

Oh no I wasn't suggesting that a woman was involved in the murder...more that a woman may have been the motivation for the murder. As with the rape case(he had feelings for her she just saw him as a friend and preferred his friends) and possibly with K(maybe it was the same scenario and this time he killed the person he saw as his love rival, Charles Carver.)

So maybe in the 2003 case he had feelings for a wife/partner of one of the victims that weren't recipricated or that they weren't even aware of and he killed the man he saw as his love rival, and those who saw him do it. I just saw that one of the victim's wife had just found out she was pregnant, maybe that was a trigger.

Just saw that in his real estate application, when explaining his previous conviction he referred to the girl he kidnapped as his girlfriend. It seems he may have relationships that only exist in his mind.

A South Carolina man killed at least seven people in a hidden crime spree that lasted more than a decade and only was uncovered when police rescued a woman chained at the neck in a storage container, authorities said Saturday.
Snip....Wright says Kohlhepp also showed law enforcement officers Saturday where he says he buried two of his other victims on his 95-acre property near Woodruff. Kohlhepp, in handcuffs and wearing an orange jumpsuit, was at the site for less than an hour.
Those are in addition to the body found Friday at the site. Wright and Coroner Rusty Clevenger identified that victim as 32-year-old Charles Carver, the boyfriend of the woman found Thursday in a locked metal container.
Much more at link.

This "SuperBike" murder confession was unexpected. I was expecting a lust killer but so far most of TK's victims have been men who TK had issues with or got in his way. Maybe LE found evidence. LE may have found the 9 mm.

OMG!! People who know him are posting screen shots of convos with TK. Someone posted a screenshot of a msg to him where they share K's missing poster and he replies "WTF".

Also, people recall creepy behavior and texts.

I have the chills.

Thats what I am thinking. I bet one of those weapons they seized was a ballistic match to the super bike murders.

OMG again!!! Someone posted an entire convo with TK about K being missing. He said he knew nothing and that she was an ex of one of his friends. He paid her to do some cleaning and is sure she will turn up ok.

In cases like this I often think of this quote by one of the Cleveland, Ohio three victim's Michelle Knight: "Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, she became a butterfly."

Totally agree...it really is such a bizarre case. I know some of the users here are very well versed in serial killer history. Is there any serial killer who is similar in style to TK? The mass murder, killing of CDC, keeping KB, and whoever the two other victims are seems like a very broad profile. But I am not nearly an 1/8th as knowledgeable about serial killers as most of y'all are. I tend to think of them as having a very specific victim type, and leaving "calling cards" or signature signs that it was them.
