Found Deceased SC - Kelly Kenny, 23, Hanahan, 28 Feb 2017

She was found inside her 2015 white Subaru Imprezza at a North Charleston apartment complex.

Hanahan Police searched the car and say "the body of a white female believed to be that of Ms. Kenney was discovered."

The State Law Enforcement Division says North Charleston and Hanahan police asked them [to] investigate the death because the case involves multiple local law enforcement jurisdictions and they aren't sure where Kenney died.

The car was actually marked "abandoned" and her body was found in the car at the towing lot. Poor girl was in there and the tow company didn't notice.

Under a blanket, maybe, or in the rear footwell. Maybe even in the boot. It wouldn't be the first time, sadly.
The article says the back seat. My guess would be blanket or clothing. If she killed herself it wasn't as obvious as a horse through the window. Maybe an OD?

So sad. RIP Kelly. Bipolar disease is truly awful.

Kelly was my best friend and I was the last person to see her before she went missing.

Did they ever release her autopsy report? I haven't found anything yet. Thanks!

No, in South Carolina autopsy reports are considered protected medical records and are unavailable to the public. Death certificates are only available after 50 years.
