Recovered/Located SC - Kobe Beondre Dawson, Missing, Summerville, Car Found in Goose Creek

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 21-year-old male.

Kobe Beondre Dawson was last seen driving away from his residence on Bull Run Drive at 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Dawson was driving a 2016 GMC Acadia, which was found abandoned at a Walmart in Goose Creek.

Deputies describe Dawson as 5′11″, 380 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

If anyone knows of the whereabouts of Dawson, you are encouraged to contact the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office at 843-719-4412.

I'm curious if there is surveillance video available that either shows KD entering the store, or maybe meeting someone in the parking lot? I know it's sometimes common to meet someone at a mutual location and then take one vehicle to the desired destination.

This article stated he has "medical conditions requiring medication". Given he is reported as 380 pounds at 5 foot 11 I'm wondering if he was diabetic. Insulin imbalance can make one act in ways that are not normal (I have a diabetic in the family). Very concerning. Deputies searching for missing man after vehicle found abandoned in Goose Creek
