Presumed Located Sc - Leah Dawn Tuttle, Horry County, 11 June 2018

Tuttle came to Horry County on June 10 with friends and was supposed to be staying at the Ocean Lake Camp Ground in Surfside Beach, according to her missing person advisory. Her god-mother last spoke to her on June 11 and Tuttle told her god-mother she had been in a fight. Tuttle was reported missing on June 13. She doesn't have a working phone and it is unknown what she was last wearing or if she has a vehicle. Police don't suspect suspicious behavior. Tuttle may still be in or around the Ocean Lakes Camp Ground area.

How is she posting to facebook from a campground if she doesn't have a working phone? Maybe she changed her phone number and just didn't tell her godmother?

You can access your FB from anyone's phone or computer. When your phone service is turned off you can still access the internet (as long as it is WiFi) and can still take pics.

Oh I know that. I thought "not having a working phone" meant her phone was completely not working-- like she dropped it in the pool or something. If she has a phone without service she can still make calls with apps like What's App and message people with the internet too. Also, I didn't realize the campground had wifi. (It also lists where two libraries are with public access computers): Campground Wi-Fi Service at Ocean Lakes

Their campsites also include a phone jack for making local calls. She has plenty of ways to make contact with her family (or just call the Horry County Police and say she is fine). So why is she missing? And why don't they give her age in the missing alert?
