<<Circumstances of Disappearance On March 30, 2006 Linnell C. Young was reported to the Richland County Sheriff's Department as a missing person. He was last seen by his family on March 28, 2006 around 5:30 p.m. at his residence on Virginia Byrd Rd., in Eastover. Mr. Young was ill and told his mother he was going to bed. When she returned to his home on Wednesday morning, the 29th, at 7:00a.m., she found his front door standing open and Mr.. Young was nowhere in the residence. Investigators have talked with his employer and found that he has not been at work since the 28th nor has he picked up his paycheck. It is not known what Linnell Young was last wearing; however, he almost always wears a baseball cap.>>

Details of Disappearance
Young was last seen at his residence on Virginia Byrd Road in Eastover, South Carolina at 5:30 p.m. on March 30, 2006. He told his mother he felt ill with flu-like symptoms, and was going to lie down.When Young's mother returned to the residence at 7:00 a.m. the following day to check on him, he was gone. The front door to the home was open and the lights were on. He has never been heard from again.
Young never picked up his last paycheck. He did not own a vehicle at the time of his disappearance. His family stated they do not believe he had any enemies. His case remains unsolved.
