Luis Armando Argueta Montejo, 43, is charged with three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and one count of incest, according to a news release from the Oconee County Sheriff's Office (OCSO).
Officials said based upon evidence, investigators learned that Montejo had engaged in sexual intercourse with the victim between 2022 and 2025.
Both the juvenile and the baby were placed into Emergency Protective Custody and both are in a safe environment, officials said. Investigators are still conducting an inquiry to determine the identity of the father of the baby.
Deputies said Montejo was charged with three counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, second degree, and one count of incest. He granted a $80,000 surety bond.
