HAMPTON COUNTY -- Three Colleton County men are in custody charged with the Monday home invasion and kidnapping that left a 78-year-old woman stuck in her trunk and shot in the abdomen.
The Hampton County Sheriff's Department announced Tuesday that two Walterboro men, Stevie Lamont Aiken, 30, and Nathaniel Harris, 48, have been arrested and are charged with burglary, kidnapping, assault and battery with intent to kill, grand larceny and armed robbery.
Both Aiken and Harris have previous felony convictions and also face charges of being a felon in possession of a weapon.
Derrick Ladel Aiken, 29, was arrested and is charged with being an accessory to the crime. Derrick and Stevie Aiken are brothers, according to a Hampton County spokesperson.

HAMPTON, SCThree men charged in connection with a home invasion and kidnapping of an elderly woman were refused bond in a Hampton County court Wednesday afternoon.
Nathaniel Harris and Stevie Aiken heard the charges against them: first degree burglary, kidnapping, assault and battery with intent to kill, grand larceny, felon in possession of a weapon and armed robbery. Their bond hearing will happen in Hampton County General Sessions court at a later date.
Stevies brother, Derrick, is charged with being an accessory before and after the fact. The judge declined to set bond for him.
Derrick Aiken burst into tears at the hearing, telling the judge, I am not a criminal.
