GUILTY SC - Margaret Parker, 65, beaten to death, Greenville, 23 April 2010

A Greenville, SC man was arrested after police were called by a third party to check on something wrong at an apartment.

James D. Chapman aged 41 was arrested for the murder of his mother Margaret Parker aged 65. Police found her bloodied body on the floor after Chapman opened the door and let them in.

Poor woman. Rest In Peace Mrs. Parker.

There's always a neighbor to fill in gaps in cases so horrific as this. They said that Chapman didn't seem the kind of guy to "just go off like that". The guy strangled and beat his own mother to death.

Also some neighbors are now fearful. Hmmmmm, this was a domestic crime.

Ms. Parker was described as the Captain of her floor who always was happy. How sad. Her own son.
